"If you watched a show, like I did—‘Somebody Feed Phil’ on Netflix—and you wanted to experience it firsthand, prompting you to visit this place, you made a ‘glamorous mistake.’ At first, I felt angry and then very disappointed, but as the place grew on me, I started to feel the ambiance, almost as if I were looking at a painting.
It was no longer about the food; it was about experiencing what we always run away from. No matter how great you were, time can change everything. The glamorous people you see on TV could be sitting in a broken booth, taking orders, and getting frustrated with every ring of the phone.
The place is a wreck; it’s not for food, it’s just another roadside eating joint. You can’t sit inside and eat; if you’re not local, I wouldn’t recommend going there at all. I took an Uber to this place at four times the cost of the food and had to stand outside to eat this pizza.
If you love to see a part of history, go there. If you have an arrogant boss or colleague, take them there; show them that power and greatness don’t last forever."

We went with high expectations given the famous reputation, but were disappointed.  There is no table service at present because there's not enough staff, just Cookie taking orders at an old booth.  The pie had a great crust but was too heavy on the sauce and light on flavor.

Great pizza, but the service wasn't good. They didn't offer dine in service, there was no cash register, and the lady taking my order was kind of mean. If you're willing to deal with all that for good pizza, I suggest it!

We used to eat at the 2nd Avenue location back in the day, this was our first visit to the Coney Island location. I’ll put this pizza up against the best, I could drink the pizza sauce by the gallon it’s that delicious. We have our go to spot back for Pizza again.

Amazing Food grew up going to this place it has the best pizza that I have ever had in my life as my grandfather brought me here growing up. People can say whatever they about service this place is worth the wait.  I’ve seen changes positive compassionate changes in ownerships behavior for the better with my own two eyes so I am pleased to say that to Totonnos  is a great an excellent Pizzaria for all

Jag har ätit pizza på John's of Bleeker Street, Grimaldi's, Di Faro, Rao's, Spumoni Gardens (originalet) och många fler. Totonno's är bäst; degen är ordentligt provtryckt etc. , och den farfars 800°F kolugnen gör skillnad. 

Hela pajer bara, så ta med en vän eller två. Pizza är bra direkt ur ugnen men åldras inte bra. Försök avsluta inom 12 minuter för bästa upplevelse.

Jag gick för att jag hade läst en artikel om att detta var den bästa pizza på Coney Island (om inte New York). Pizza är bra, men jag skulle inte vara säker på att den lever upp till hype.
Som en allmän regel var tjänsten träffad eller missade, vi kunde inte få en andra drink eftersom ingen på någonsin kom tillbaka för att fråga oss, men det verkade som om det var oklart vem som var vår server eftersom vissa visade sig arbeta sent. Det fanns också en verklig servitris som skäller både på kunder och servrar. Hon förstörde verkligen upplevelsen och orsakade lägre betyg.
Ett par saker att tänka på. Vi kom dit precis när det öppnade och det var inte under sommaren så jag förväntar mig att det finns långa rader under sommaren. Det finns bara 10 bord på platsen (varje plats mellan 4 - 6 personer). Om en solo person kommer in får de ett helt bord, vilket är en annan orsak till långa rader. De borde ha en räknare för enskilda kunder och tabeller för två. Du kan bara beställa hela pajer (som en kund fick reda på efter att ha väntat i linje med oss för att platsen ska öppnas och sedan vänster.) Varför ingen meny i fönstret utanför?
Ja, det är gamla skolan eftersom pizzorna kommer att påminna de över 50 om den typ av pizza vi fick på italienska pizzeriaer under vår barndom, men bra kundservice är också old school.

Denna mycket gamla pizza gemensamma har varit i denna Coney Island stadsdel i Brooklyn längre än de flesta av oss har levt. Och deras attityd visar! ! !
Pizzaen (alla de tjänar) är ganska bra, men det är inte värt priset, väntetiden, tjänsten utanför och det viktigaste är att endast kontantpolisen är alla hinder som kommer i vägen.
Med så många bra och definitivt mer välkomnande pizza restauranger i området är det omöjligt att rättfärdiga denna plats.

Detta är den typ av neapolitanska pizzor jag växte upp med. Det är vad en pizza bör vara. Inte fyllda med skräp men den nakna ingredienser som gör att du smaka en äkta pizza.

Vi fick höra att det var den bästa pizzan i usa, och jag håller med. Vårt hotell personalen sa till oss att komma dit tidigt att de bara gör så många pizza och det är det. Vi kom dit strax efter 11:30 och fick den sista plats, som en lång rad började utanför! Pizzan var definitivt värd att vänta på, det tog lite över en timme på att få det. De gör en paj på en gång, så om andra ligger framför dig, det tar ett tag. Gå tidigt och få till det innan en publik och de kan du få till Coney Island innan att publiken! Missa inte denna fantastiska pizza, jag gillade det mer än Grimaldi i TÄNK DUMBO
