A decent place with good food and great service.  The server explained everything and was very helpful.

A bit on the pricey side for a chain, but the quality of the meat is very good.

The atmosphere is pub like with a Japanese flare.

We wouldn’t rush back, but we aren’t opposed to going back either.

This experience was extremely fun!
We got the Holiday Premium Special and we were very surprised with how tasty the meat was. Some pieces were thicker than other cuts, but all the meat was super tasty. They probably marinade it. Other protein like Chicken and shrimps were surprisingly good as well.
With all the meat came soup, salad, rice and many other dishes, some with meat as well, like the pork gioza.
Interacting with the grill was fun for everybody and added an extra fun element to the experience.
We exited the resturant beat and super full, there was plenty of food.
The staff were super busy and tiered and we could feel that some of them didn't appreciate all of our questions, which we asked since the Staff's English wasn't always good and the place was very noisy, so often we had difficulty hearing their answers.

Having visited the midtown east location for work lunches, I was eager to try this location that's only a 10-minute walk from my apartment. Before I arrived I was reminded of a 2-hour time limit and a mandatory 20% gratuity for our party of eight via OpenTable.

Once seated, we learned our time was cut to 1.5 hours due to fewer guests, which didn't quite add up. The friendly waitress reminded us of happy hour, but the waiter seemed disappointed with our order and mentioned, “So you guys have been here before, right? The portions are pretty small.” Six meat dishes and three appetizers felt sufficient for our group of three.

When a friend asked for help with meats sticking to the grill, the waiter curtly referenced a policy against using oil instead of offering solutions such as turning down the flame. There were also no instructions for the vegetable items, which would have been helpful.

While a 20% tip is typical, the mandatory gratuity for a smaller group felt unfair. I intended to tip that amount, but the guaranteed charge left me unsatisfied. Overall, clearer communication and a more accommodating approach would improve the experience.

Busy place!!! I've been here twice in two years and it always has a hectic, breakneck atmosphere.  Reserved tables never seem to be ready so be prepared to wait 15-30 minutes after your reservation to be seated.  For as busy as they are, we've always had super positive interactions with staff.  It can be difficult to flag down refills or additional orders though, so I recommend getting a course so the food keeps flowing without needing to flag down the ultra-busy staff.  The food is always tasty and solidly presented, so no issues there!

Meat was decent service was too slow choosed to AUCE choice but in only 3 time order our time off 90 minutes was over waiting my meat too long. Even grill was burned out just waiting my meat. And asked for refill of my drink and it takes to them 25 minutes to do it so. Thank you no coming back. And even server was Spanish but racist only serving good to whities not the others. If you are not white folks you are no one there for her. And for her just let you know I tipped you good even so you were slow and you know.

Cocktailarna var inte bra men de har trevlig japansk öl.

Riktigt god mat, dålig service. 
Beställde diverse kött och grönsaker att laga vid bordet... men eftersom det inte var vad servitören ville att vi skulle köpa hade han en strigel. Helt otroligt. Aldrig sett det förut.

Vi hittade restaurangen mycket smutsig, Taken är mögliga! Maten var genomsnittlig och vi väntade länge! Servicen var inte bra. Jag tycker att du borde få MYCKET bättre kvalitet på mat och portioner för priset. Gyu - kaku var en besvikelse!

Rolig upplevelse, men servicen är inte för stark. Varje gång vi kommer med en bokning, ber de oss att sitta och vänta på vårt bord i 30 minuter. Servicen är vanligtvis mycket långsam.

Vi satt i baren, tjänsten var vänlig men långsam / inte uppmärksam under större delen av tiden. Maten var OK, mer smaklös än jag hade förväntat mig. Stor självkokt grill. Härligt delningskoncept för en grupp vänner. Trevligt för middag men de gör några bra lunchavtal och happy hour. Köttet var fantastiskt och så väl marinerat och jag skulle gå tillbaka igen!

Förra fredagen 1/17/2020, kom med vänner att dricka cocktails och äta lite mat, bestämde sig för att sätta sig vid baren. Vi var 4 personer och det fanns inga platser, men snart lämnade ett stort företag en plats och vi tog platser i baren. Så snart vi satte oss, kom assistentbartendern fram till oss och sa: kom hit, här är platsen för beställningar. "Jag blev förolämpad och förstod inte vad som hände! Jag vände mig till bartendern, men hon berättade också för mig att detta var regeln, men samtidigt tog de order från alla sidor, som jag uppmärksammade bartendern på. ... om denna regel skulle det fungera på samma sätt för både kunder och personal! bartendern tog ett glas av min dryck från mina händer och gick åt andra hållet. Jag bad administratören att påverka situationen, men hon sa bara "sorry". Jag brukade gå och rekommendera din restaurang, men jag kommer aldrig tillbaka! Detta är inte fallet med kunder.

Läcker mat och trevlig personal. Vår server glömde en av våra beställningar och tyvärr tog det lång tid innan den kom ut så det var den enda nackdelen. Bortsett från det skulle definitivt gå tillbaka!

Ett riktigt bra sätt att äta - välj den mat du vill och laga den själv över en grillfest i bordet. Vägledning om tillagningstider. Kom med familjen och hade Shogun-menyn för sex personer och några extra rätter. Förrätter är redan kokta och redo att äta, huvudrätter som du lagar själv - bra val av nötkött, kyckling, fläsk, räkor och grönsaker. Öken - rostade marshmallows - denna sista maträtt var jättekul för barnen.

Bästa kedjan yakiniku i stan, massor av alternativ för nötkött, fläsk, kyckling, skaldjur och också mycket förrätt. Tuna Bite var riktigt bra medan bläckfisk var bara soso, besök det före kl 18 för att få marknadsföring av Happy Hour, en duraeble plats att besöka för att ha en trevlig yakiniku och umgås med vänner
