This was one of the move amazing omakase spots I been to in Japan. Everything was high quality including the service, fish and atmosphere. My favorite piece was the fatty tuna and Uni.

I was also reading some reviews and I want to clarify that this is a traditional omakase spot, not a new kind where you get dessert, none fish sushi and such. The tradition is also where you eat quick within 30-50 mins, not like newer ones where you eat for 1-2 hours, there are plenty of places like that.

I also had some interaction with the chef and the staff. Hard working man who leaves late and goes to the fish market early in the morning just to find the best fish for his customers. I definitely recommend this place and would definitely come back.

This was my first omakase sushi experience and it really set the bar high for other restaurants. When you walk in, the aroma of hinoki, fresh seafood and vinegar hit you. The atmosphere is beautifully well lit and cozy. You know that you will have an experience of a lifetime. The sushi rice was warm/room temp and perfectly cooked and  seasoned. The wasabi is grated fresh as soon as you sit down so it's as good as it can be, pungent and slightly spicy. Every piece of fish was at it's peak of freshness as it has firm texture, yet melts in your mouth at the same time. Chef Hideki masterfully makes each piece in front of you, and you can see his passion in every step of the way from forming the rice, brushing the soy, to placing it on the hinoki ledge for you to eat. It is like watching a performance art. There is no music playing in the back. It is not an uncomfortable silence, as Chef is very friendly and humorous. If you are visiting Japan and want to have a truly authentic omakase sushi experience, I highly recommend that you come here for a memorable meal.

Chef provided a wonderful experience. Would rate 5/5. Incredibly price to quality ratio. Would definitely go again and certainly plan to. I don’t think you can get better sushi anywhere and I say that with extreme confidence.
