WONDERFUL HOTEL !

On par with my favorite 5 star Italian treasure-hotels , where everything is just-right.

What I really like about this place is it's not as stiff as many other true 5 stars in Italy.

You can tell the front desk staff went for "Swiss hotel training" - but there's cool enough music - the staff is equally friendly & high-care , as opposed to reserved/high , which can feel stifling.

Location is BEAUTIFUL
Rooms are modern & nicely equipped.
Maintenance is 1st rate.

Just got back from our trip to Italy and cannot say enough good things about this hotel! The location is ideal as it is far away from the main piazzetta and therefore it is extremely quiet. From the minute we walked in the staff were exceptional. Federica specifically went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay here as well as recommending how we should spend our time in Capri. The views are incredible from every point in this hotel. Would absolutely return and recommend this hotel to everyone!

This hotel is one of the best in the world! The stuff is truly incredible, they make you feel very special. For my birthday they made me surprise with birthday cake. The location is excellent, we went almost everyday to Fontelina beach, which is very close. The pool in the hotel is awesome, everything is 10/10 ❤️

Just checked out of the Punta Tragara - they made our honeymoon such a special occasion. Lovely room with a view over Capri, breakfast was impeccable (one of the best we’ve ever had), and we enjoyed spending the day at the pool club in the sunshine! It will have a special place in our hearts and we look forward to returning for anniversary celebrations!

Beautiful historic building set on the quiet side of Capri makes this establishment world class. Great service and updated rooms with ocean views.
Don't miss the fabulous Michelin dinner that is on-property.

During World War II, it served as the headquarters for the American Command and hosted notable figures such as President Eisenhower and Prime Minister Churchill. In 1968, the property was acquired by Roman aristocrat Gofreddo Manfredi and transformed into a luxury hotel, becoming the centerpiece of the Manfredi Fine Hotels Collection.
