Went to the Filmmuseum this weekend, it was a beautiful exposition. They had many interactive displays, for example making a little flip book from your own short video. Printing took longer than expected (ca. 20mins) and got two books for the price of one to complement the waiting time. Really kind people working there, caring for the people’s experience.

This museum of film has a permanent exhibition at the basement which is very interesting and quite fun.  There are film quiz games where the people can play against each other. The 3D pictures of 1920s off the Netherlands were very cool to see.

The architecture of the building is mesmerizing.  This museum is not for everyone though unless you are into films and filming.

I didn't go to the museum but to the eye coffee shop, it is super cool and cozy place especially at night, very beautiful view of the city and river, actually quiet a romantic place to be in at night especially when they are playing the old love songs, the view the ambiance, everything blends in together extremely well at night.
There is free internet and electric plugs if you want to just drink coffee, relax and work. Everyone is quite nice but the only thing I didn't like is you can't pick your table, I didn't get it if the rest are reserved or how it works but that's the only thing I didn't like but it's probably my fault.

It's one of my favorite places. Beautiful skyline, nice food in the restaurant, just a cozy feeling, perfect lightning, both in winter and in summer. Marvelous architecture, nice wordlplay on the name.
It is one of the few public places where you can chill and enjoy the city without depleting your pockets. There are stairs and benches with headphones, so you can enjoy film music.

Great location to have a quiet place to chill on the inside stairs or have a great view over the Amsterdam centraal waters. I didn’t tried the restaurant but I think could be a good place to enjoy a coffee or a drinks.
Entrance to the building is free but exhibitions is paid ( the history of cinema is nice but a little short I would say, could better enhanced !)
Also a selection of movie screenings ( not trending or block busters, more handpicked selection) all day long is available
