This small, boutique luxury hotel is quaint and centrally located.  The staff are very helpful.  There's a nice (for Europe) daily breakfast.  Complimentary umbrellas are available during rains.  Rooms have a wonderful blend of traditional furnishings with modern features.   Full gym.  You must return your physical room key when you leave the hotel to go out.  They still have physical keys.  I didn't like having to give my room number out each time I returned so I made sure there were no other people within earshot.

I can't say enough about this hotel. It was in a great location, across from the Madrid Park, around the corner from the Prado Museum and botanical gardens. The staff were excellent, especially Juanlu at the front desk and his assistant/porter. They were both very helpful anytime I needed it, in addition to the other staff being wonderful. My room was a great size with a king bed, table and chairs and cabinet and still room to move around. The bathroom was nice size, towels a little small but bathtub and robs were very comfortable. Overall, luxurious hotel, great location and excellent staff.

Great location, but hotel shouldn’t qualify as luxurious. Breakfast was good and reception has a very friendly staff. But, disappointed with room size and amenities at the hotel are poor.

We have just been for lunch and went for the menu. The Carrilleras were cold. The menu is quite simple and substandard for the price it has.
The place is beautiful and Service was good, especially the Argentinian waiter. After our lunch, we went to the bar and no one was there to attend to us. All in all the experience has been quite bad.
Not recommended.

Rooms could use an upgrade to modern electrical needs. Having every thing in the room on one switch made it difficult to manage schedules for more than one guest. Service was impeccable! Bar has very good cocktails.
