This is my 2nd stay at this hotel (1st stay was in early 2022) and unfortunately this time I had a disappointing experience. The reception desk wasn't much cordial and didn't even bother to ask if I needed any help with my luggage in the room. The A/C in my room doesn't get cooler than 22 degrees C and even though the maintenance guy came and tried to fix it. Even though the hotel location is central, I'm certain there are much better hotels in the surrounding areas with better service. I won't stay at this hotel in the future.

I’ve travelled throughout Europe and North America for work and pleasure.  I have to say of all the hotels I’ve stayed in this is one of my favourite boutique hotels.  Rooms are great, location is absolutely amazing with tons of restaurants, cafes and shops right outside the door. Breakfast is also excellent.  My wife and I highly recommend, and without question will be staying again if we go back to Madrid someday.

Great location with easy access to public transportation, within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions, clean and spacious room, large bathroom, extra towels, wonderful water pressure and temperature, surprisingly quiet despite being right above a busy street.
The room description says "1 large double bed", yet our room had two separate beds next to each other. We don't like the gap in the middle, so we asked the person at the front desk about it, but he said "I don't believe it. I want to come up and see it for myself". My partner was already asleep, it was long train ride, so I showed him a picture I took (see below) showing the gap between the beds, but he just shrugged at me. He could not care less about this blatant discrepancy. We got the "Deluxe Double Room", exactly the same room type the other couple we were on vacation with got. Their room had a full bath, ours only had a shower. A little disappointing, but not a big deal. While taking a shower I discovered they only had shampoo. No shower gel, no soap of any kind, just three tiny bottles - all of them being shampoo. Such lack of attention to detail on their behalf. While there's a kettle in the room for making tea, there was no gratis water bottle, unlike every other Spanish hotel we've been to. Is it really worth making your guests have to go out to buy water to save the 1 euro a water bottle costs? Why even provide your guests with the option of brewing tea in their room in the first place if you're not providing them bottled water to do so?
Luckily, we only stayed for one night at this abysmal hotel. Even leaving Preciados left a bitter taste with us; we asked the front desk to call us a cab to the airport. They said it's on its way and we could sit and wait for it in the lobby (it was freezing outside). We waited and waited and eventually got worried that we might be running late and missing our flight, so I got up and asked them if they know how long it would be. "Oh, it's right outside, it's been waiting for you". Apparently they saw the cab arrive, yet felt no urgency whatsoever to let us know it did.

Excellent location, very clean and great rooftop views. In the middle of central area, but quiet inside hotel. Countless amount of restaurants/bars on the street. Walkable area.

It was not as I expected compared to price, not that clean and the towels were badly smelly.
If you have to take a room there avoid the breakfast because it's very bad and not enough options.
Adding to the misbehaving with reception staff and rudeness
Definitely not worth a visit again.
The only nice thing about it was the location.
