I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this restaurant, from the starters to the exceptional cocktails. Every item we ordered delicious. While the prices are on the higher side, they are in line with Stockholm's typical pricing and with the quality of the food.

However, the seating was somewhat uncomfortable given the cost, and despite having made a reservation, we were seated quite close to other diners and it was a bit cold. So minus points on the romantic dinner experience as we had so many people who could see us dine. The fried chicken starter was horrible, it had hairs still on the chicken, not exactly great flavor but cucumbers were nice.

On a positive note, the service was outstanding and truly enhanced the experience.

On our first night in Stockholm we heading down to Farang after much research.

This place is vast, and packed for a Tuesday night.

We opted for the tasting menu, paired with a French bottle of Riesling.

As for the food, we could fault it in both taste or presentation. It was dance on your senses in terms of flavour, texture and presentation. If we had one negative point, it would be that the dish should be serviced hot rather than Luke warm.

The service was expectational. Our waiter was, attentive, well versus on the menu and a good understanding on the wines on offer.

Overall we give our experience 4/5. To achieve a 5, the food needs to come out pipping hot.  We left it was likely left on the pass too long.

We had the tasting menu and everything was delicious! My partner had the vegetarian tasting menu option. We had a lovely cocktail to start as well as a bottle of white wine to share throughout the meal. It was for my partners 30th birthday and we had a very memorable experience. I recently dined at Restaurang Farang in Stockholm and had a fantastic experience. The food is absolutely delicious, offering a great variety of authentic Asian dishes that are full of flavor.

Expect to spend about $60 per person, which is well worth it for the quality and taste.

However, it’s important to note that you definitely need a reservation, as the place is quite popular. The atmosphere can be a bit noisy, so if you prefer a quieter dining experience, I recommend booking a table after 20:30, especially during the week, when it’s less crowded.

Very nice food and a great atmosphere! It was more casual than expected, since the restaurant has a Michelin star, but nonetheless; the food was great and tasty.
