Had a lovely time at Roast, but there were a couple of small issues that held it back.

Starters: The Scotch egg was a highlight—crispy on the outside with a perfectly runny yolk. The beetroot sauce added a sweet balance, and the fresh watercress brought a nice touch.

Mains:
•	The Beef Wellington was excellent—tender beef, crisp pastry, and the truffle mash was smooth and packed with flavor. The gravy tied it all together beautifully.
•	The steak, however, was a letdown. It was chewy and not cooked medium-rare as requested, which was disappointing considering the price point.

Sides: The cauliflower cheese was indulgent with a golden, crispy top, the roast potatoes were perfectly crispy outside and fluffy inside, and the Yorkshire puddings were huge and light—exactly what you’d expect from a proper roast.

Ambience: The space is stunning, especially with the festive decorations like the ceiling of wrapped gifts. The large windows create a bright, inviting atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely meal.

Service: The staff were professional, polite, and attentive, which really enhanced the experience.

Located in a high density area, this restaurant doesn't disappoint. The access it is a bit weird as they are located on the first floor of some old building, but the space it is nice, arranged, and feels nice.
The staff is well trained and friendly.
The food is basic English food, roast, grill, baked, fried, but cooked quite well. Well done, chefs!
If you order oysters and you like them as they are, remember to tell the waiter not to put chive oil. For me, it is messing up the taste.
Overall, I recommend it. Book it in advance as the place it is quite crowded.

Very busy, came for Xmas dinner. The dinner was really good. Nice selection of non alcoholic drinks. Service was great, very attentive. the presentation was great. I really liked the sticky toffee dessert here. The turkey main was delicious. I would come here again in the new year.

Great scotch eggs! Great roast dinner, staff very efficient and welcoming. And a nice touch for our anniversary with a little chocolate tart was much appreciated! Only complaint was too full for dessert!

Always been a fan of Roast and recently tried their Market Menu. It was superb and such good value. Staff were attentive, food quality was great. Brought our toddler and baby and they were super accommodating. Space for stroller, high chair for toddler as well as Colouring book to keep her busy! Good selection of food choices and of course, great atmosphere and location. Tried their afternoon tea a few times before which is always great but their savoury food dishes are great too! Love the flower ceiling decor!
