We had a fantastic dining experience at Dar El Kaid! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. Our server, Reza, was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for amazing food and excellent service.

We booked in advance for a table. The restaurant is located inside an old souk. The service throughout was excellent. The food was good and the ambiance was nice, though some parts felt a little dated and could use minor improvements.

We also had the chance to visit the rooftop (not a seating area), where we stood for a while and enjoyed a lovely view of the city, a great highlight of the experience.

If you’re looking for an authentic homemade Moroccan cuisine, don’t look further! Dar El Kaid is definitely one of the most authentic and delicious restaurants in Casablanca. We were agreeably impressed by their menu and the friendliness of the staff. The restaurant is beautifully designed with so many great details.
I highly recommend.

This place is on the pricey side for food but it was the first restaurant I went to when I arrived in Morocco and after several meals across the country, this place continues to be my favorite.

The service was impeccable, the decor was beautiful and the food was amazing.

This restaurant is located within the walls of this Public Market. You'll enter one of the side entrances to the Market and when you see a Water Fountain, the Entrance to this Restaurant is to your right. There was always someone outside trying to lure you in. It's a very unexpected place to find this restaurant, but was very beautiful inside.

No alcoholic beverages here.

3 floors, there's also an elevator. NOTE: The roof has a really nice view for pictures!

Food was well presented, but honestly was not worth the price. Small portions. There were regular Moroccan dishes that could have been purchased half the price at other restaurants with better flavors.

There were friendly and professional staff.

Entertainment was what we're paying for here (I think). There was a live band who played really interesting and nice Moroccan Music, and one belly dancer who came out to do a quick performance. I believe I was maybe expecting more.
