(Pre-booking needed for tour). My wife and I went on a sake tasting spree in Nadagogo, and Shushinkan Fukuju is for sure the most informational, at least easier to diggest.

It is a simple 9-minute video followed by a 3 minute walk to see the factory, but in the tasting part they properly explain the difference between the Junmais, Ginjos, Daiginjos, etc.

The other 4 sake breweries we visited were also fun, but this was straightforward, clear, and more non-japanese-speaking friendly.

We bought the famous Junmai Daiginjo. Bring passport for tax free, and do yourself via train from Osaka, is very easy.

Really a good place to taste some great Japanese sake and also buy some souvenirs for your folks back home. I tried the matcha ice cream and loved it. To get there from Sannemiya station, I took a local bus for 15min and then walked for another 10min.

I visited Kobe Shushinkan today and had a wonderful experience. We had a tour with a lovely local university student. He was helpful, knowledgeable and answered all our questions. It was great to learn about how sake is made and all the different types of sake. They have an excellent shop with lots of sake, foods and homewares. They have staff who speak many languages available if you book ahead and the site is quite accessible. I was very impressed by the experience.

Loved the visit, we stopped by on our walking tour of the Nada sake region.
As a non-japanese speaker they had someone that spoke chinese and english which was super helpful.
We were able to pay to taste their high end sake offers (the drip sakes)
It was a pretty great experience.

Wonderful and beautiful place.  Very warm staff.   Good place to learn about sake making and their history.  Large shop with a variety of sake including amazake.  Great quality.  Friendly staff and fun tasting with nice overview of the various types of sake they offer.  I highly recommend it.
