We were recommended by our tour operator and  some locals announce our dear Google ! about best Turkish Sea food .... and they recommended Siva Fish Resturant...
A small family owned placed serving authentic sea food .... we tried the oysters , octopus and the awesome fish platter ....
The food is excellent , fresh , succulent , and served with all Love and Care ..and very friendly staff ...Mr Selim personally oversees and recommends as per Guest wish to explore Turkish sea food ..
Go by his recommendations and try few glasses of Raki... it's a perfect combo !
God bless Team Siva ... they should be classified and recommended for Michelin Star !!

Salim was a very good host and offered us appetizers and dessert on top of our main item and the food was delicious. Atmosphere is also very friendly and they are open late which is a plus.

Friendly, fun welcoming staff.
Provided free indoor sparklers.
Free bread and dips to start and apple tea and baklava.
Drinks were unfortunately super expensive, and more than I would pay back home.
450 TRY/£10.45 for a rum and coke.
Same price for a small bottle of cider.
Most expensive place I ate in the whole of Istanbul. I had fish soup starter, seabass main and 1xrum and coke, and 2x small bottles of cider, and my bill came to 2500TRY.
My starter and main dish came out at the same time, despite me saying when ordering that the fish soup was a starter and seabass was my main course.
So when I ate the seabass, it was cold.
Portions are small. There were only 9 chips on my plate and a very small seabass.

This place has a weird vibe that feels like they try to scam you, and after reading the other reviews and experiencing a dinner here myself I can understand why some say 5 star reviews might be fake. The food was good ( my fish was actually very good, but shepherd salad and chicken was just okay); the price is a bit high but I’m okay with that too; but the issue is the uncomfortable atmosphere. Two guys outside bothering every pedestrian aggressively and trying to persuade them to come inside, and watching it constantly while siting and trying to have relaxing dinner; is intolerable. The other guys inside push you for getting the food you don’t want, wine you didn’t ask for, etc. it’s a lot of pushing. I have lived in both USA and Middle East before and this is not the culture and not acceptable. It’s simply annoying.
I would love to recommend them but I can’t. The food is 4 start at best and considering the vibe I would not go there again.
