La Petite Rose des Sables was the perfect way to begin our Paris adventure! After arriving in the city, we searched for a well-reviewed restaurant near our hotel that was still open—and we were fortunate to find this hidden gem.

With only seven seats, the restaurant offers an intimate and cozy atmosphere. Mamie, the heart and soul of the place, runs everything herself, from cooking to serving, using Google Translate to bridge any language gaps. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home, as if we were dining in our grandmother’s kitchen.

Beyond the delicious, homemade meals, Mamie showered us with little surprises—just like a loving granny would. It was an unforgettable, authentic experience that we will always treasure.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly special dining experience in Paris.

A super kind and heartwarming grandma who made us feel completely at home! All the food in the shop is handmade by her, and the red wine beef and duck leg were absolutely delicious! Although her English isn’t very fluent, we were still able to communicate quite well. She even gave us some red wine desserts and small souvenirs! Truly a heartwarming experience—highly recommended to everyone ❤️

It's imposible to give less than 5 stars because there is so much love in this place, this makes you feel like you are in your grandmother's house. The food tastes good, homemade, and like the food your grandma would give you. She is attentive, affectionate, gives you treats and tries to chat as much possible with you, even with the language barriers. I felt at home and I'm so happy I chose this for my birthday dinner.

The best place ever, best experience, best hospitality. She is wonderful. I felt I was in my grandma house. You don't pay for the food, you pay for the experience. She will bring loads of things punch, tea, and sweets. She is so lovely. I love this place. I will come back.

This was the best dining experience I have ever had!! The food was great, but the atmosphere was the best. Very sweet and cute grandma who obviously loves her job and puts a lot of work into it. Do yourself a favor and try to get into one of the seven seats in this amazing cosy restaurant.
