I would have not enjoy my holiday in Athens if I didn't go to the Acropolis and all the beautiful ruins there.
And I get to visit it for free! Yes because it is free for European Union citizens under 26y/o!!! So if you're in that case, don't hesitate to go!

We were lucky to get there on a free day, so opinions may differ. Overall, the opportunity to touch thousands of years of history is simply unique and there is nothing to compare it with. During our visit, the temples were being restored and they were in scaffolding, but this did not prevent us from enjoying the atmosphere and imagining ourselves among the heroes of the myths that we have known since childhood))

A great off season visit in December on a glorious late fall day.
It wasn’t too crowded and the Parthenon was spectacular. We saved some time by buying the tickets online and it worked like a charm.
