Very delicious and fresh seafood in a very quaint and unique atmosphere. The downstairs was extremely busy so we climbed up a very narrow staircase to the top. The decor was very fitting. The food was absolutely delicious. Service was amazing and very quick.

A recommended spot from visitors craving seafood, appearing in few Icelandic specials. Came for the Lobster Soup, which is a must try if you’re not allergic to shellfish. Also tried the salmon kebab and tasted very fresh. If available, do try the Wolffish kebab. Don’t forget to sign the guestbook on the second floor!

Incredible food and service.  Lobster soup and fish skewers are the best I've ever tasted.  Reasonable prices for the quality.  Friendly service.  Gets busy at times when group tours come in but service is efficient and it's well worth the wait.

A very interesting place on the culinary map of Reykjavik. Seabaron is located in the very center of Reykjavik right by the harbor and bay.
Very good food. You can choose different types of fish. Old-school place made of shipping containers. I recommend the crab soup, which unfortunately is very expensive.
No parking, tiny bathroom and very high prices. Other than that, rather all pluses, including nice staff.

My wife and I have been to Iceland approx 6 times and when staying in Reykjavik we never miss an opportunity to visit the Seabaron.
The Fish Skewers are exceptional - I do not think I have had fish as fresh, moist and tasty as here, simply the best fish in Reykjavik in our opinion.
The Lobster Soup is also lovely and fresh, well worth a walk down to the old harbour area. Never disappoints.
