My absolute favorite food in Ireland and I can twice in 4 days!! The boxy spicy chicken curry was incredible. I am still salivating thinking about that dish. Excellent excellent and I’m just like the best. You have to try it when you’re in Dublin must

My experience at Gallaghers Boxty House was memorable. We were welcomed into a cozy, authentic atmosphere where the warmth of the surroundings matched the warmth of the hospitality. The restaurant provided seating in two levels. The highlight of my meal was the fish and chips, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making it a delightful meal.

The drinks were another standout feature. We thoroughly enjoyed the Ginger Bomb, with its refreshing kick, The 1988, which had a unique, nostalgic flavor, and Thanks a Million, which left a lasting impression with its smooth, rich taste. Of course, the traditional Irish coffee was a comforting end to the meal, with its perfect blend of whiskey, coffee, and cream.

The desserts were the perfect conclusion to the dining experience. Each one was creamy and moist, offering a satisfying sweetness that lingered long after your meal. The combination of excellent food, drinks, and ambiance made our visit truly special.

Went here twice during my 4 days short visit to Dublin and 100% recommend their Boxty and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

I have had sticky toffee pudding twice. Both in Michelin Star restaurants, and I can definitely tell their sticky toffee was very good.

So glad we saw this place in our random walk through central Dublin.  Our servers Debbie and Mike made our day with their beautiful personalities and charm. .   We had the Irish breakfast which is highly recommended...a generous portion of flavourful Irish staples and a few more.  We'll Done Gallaghers!

The service was excellent, and the food was incredible! It was my first time trying the chicken Boxty, and it was absolutely amazing—I loved it! I only wish they had the corned beef Boxty as well. It was unavailable when we visited. The fried cauliflower was just as fantastic. I’ll definitely be returning to this restaurant!
