That this building is still so intact and beautiful is wonderful.  It's such a cool place to see.  We paid cash and went right in.  There is a separate line on the left just for paying cash.  Paying with credit card and advanced tickets had their own lines and there were long lines for each.

What a amazing old building. Still stands strong. Its told about so much in history and stories. And many people have been here. The decoration inside is so nice. The lights inside make it nice to. Its something seeing the round hole in the rooftop. It looked great with the light fall.

Now I’m in no way the religious type but even I can appreciate the beauty and history of this building. It was breathtaking, again busy. But manageable, we didn’t book tickets in advance but we managed to gain entry within 10/15 minutes. There a queue on the right hand side for card only (top tip) which is much shorter. The numbers inside are managed well by the staff and there’s so much to learn about the history of this landmark, a must visit for any tourist in Rome.

A truly impressive sight. Rome has such a deep history with beautiful architecture all achieved without modern day tools and technology! We went during the off season in Nov during the week with beautiful weather. We really lucked out!

Think the history and architecture is amazing! One of the few structure left that we can see how ancient Roman structure look like 2000 years ago! But it’s not a museum and won’t take a long time! Good for a pit stop! Good early!
