In my opinion, Zeezout is the best Michelin-star restaurant in Rotterdam. Their 6-course menu is an excellent deal for the high-quality, creative dishes they offer. Each course is unique, fresh, and expertly prepared, showcasing the chef’s talent. The service is outstanding—attentive, friendly, and professional. If you’re looking for an unforgettable seafood dining experience, Zeezout is the place to go!

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary  and it was a really special evening! The staff was very kind, every dish was explained in detail. The quality of different types of fish was excellent and every dish was a pleasant surprise!

Maybe too highly expecting the first time visit Rotterdam and so looking forward for the Michelin star restaurant and also seafood cuisine! But to be honest , maybe I wasn’t lucky , the menu is not really matching my flavor ! And too simple and nothing surprised . Paying more than 100€ I think maybe deserve a little bit higher value seafood such as lobster or nice crabs . Not just monkfish salmon and tuna .The service is friendly, surrounding is cozy , but what a pity I didn’t find it tasteful ! But still thanks for the staffs !!

Upon entering, we were greeted warmly by attentive waitstaff who promptly inquired about any dietary restrictions, preferences, and our willingness to explore various culinary delights. This initial attention to detail set a promising tone for our meal.

The ambiance of the restaurant was serene, with a tasteful decor that exuded sophistication. Despite being minimally crowded, the tranquility allowed for intimate conversations and an overall relaxed dining atmosphere.

The highlight of our experience undoubtedly lied in the carefully curated dishes presented to us. Each course was a testament to the chef's creativity and dedication to utilizing fresh, high-quality ingredients. From the appetizing starters to the decadent desserts, every plate was a culinary masterpiece, thoughtfully described before its presentation.

However, the journey through our meal was punctuated by a notable drawback – the service was disappointingly slow. While the attentiveness of the staff was commendable, the prolonged intervals between courses left us lingering at the table for an extended period, totaling nearly two hours for the entire meal. This lag in service, albeit somewhat mitigated by engaging conversation and the tranquil ambiance, detracted from the overall dining experience.

In conclusion, our visit to Zee Zuot was a tale of two halves. While the exquisite flavors and attentive waitstaff showcased the restaurant's culinary prowess and commitment to guest satisfaction, the sluggish service pace served as a hindrance to an otherwise enjoyable meal. With its tranquil ambiance and gastronomic delights, this Rotterdam gem holds promise for an unforgettable dining experience, albeit with room for improvement in service efficiency.

Simply outstanding food. Delivered with great love and care. Beautifully layered Flavours, a really joyful celebration of food. The dessert was a resounding and unexpected success, transported my back to my childhood through its careful construction. I have nothing but thanks for this place
