This is an amazing restaurant. Incredible food, the service was impecable. It is a truly special experience with a lot of detail behind the story of the recipes. I highly recommend it. We can’t wait to go again.

I do this review again and I hope that for the good of the restaurant this man doesn't respond again. I have more than 2 million of views and I have eaten in a thousand places and they never answered me at any time: "Come for your money which for us is nothing but a few hundreds.". That sums up our experience in general. Who knows what effort a costumers make to attend the sites and even in special moments, I don't know if he was just having a bad day but definitely was a very bad treatment from the supposed owner when dealing with any unexpected changes when they want to sell "a certain quality" of restaurant, little adaptation and very bad response for everything. If you do not know how to deal with customer service, it is better not to work with it. It may have been our mistake not to report allergies but definitely much worse to give someone who has bothered to spend their money here having a hard time. Sadly good food was overshadowed by this and so was our Saturday off. So be careful with being human and don't point out your allergies in advance because your "DESPISTE" (this is how he called it ) may offend the owner of this site. FUN FACT: the only thing I really couldn't eat were the sauces and the rice. So there's that.

Good food, service and ambience overall (see details below). We were here on a Thursday, the first customers to walk in that evening and we were looking forward to finally having a good dining experience in A Coruña after some disappointments.

Food: Top marks for the food. We had the four-course menu. It was all delicious. The oyster leaf tasted exactly like an oyster and the flavours of each course were so well balanced. The halibut course was my favourite and the sorbet with the (pre-)dessert was great. Truly wonderful dining. That said, there were some missteps. The veal course has an absolutely ill-conceived, disgusting orange/mint salad. Don't eat that and you'll be fine. One other thing to note, my veal came with a long hair seared into it, my companion's veal was perfect though. This was particularly hilarious because we chose a nice restaurant to avoid this sort of thing (we'd had hair in our tapas just two days before). The chef serving us was obviously was embarrassed, apologized, and offered free shots after the meal, but really, maybe hair is just part of the A Coruña dining scene. My meal was redone, but in the panic the veal came back medium-well rather than medium and it was two end bits instead of a one-piece nice steak. Hopefully this isn't a regular thing because it was the lowest note in an otherwise delicious meal.

Service: Good service. Every course was well-explained and the chef who served us was quite nice, awfully embarrassed about the hair in the food (he was bald btw, so it definitely wasn't his). Only note on the service was that the place was dead quiet when we walked in, we amused ourselves with books from the bookshelf and felt awkward about our voices filling the empty restaurant. As soon as another couple walked in (a full hour after we had), he immediately put on some music for atmosphere, I guess we weren't worth that consideration or he simply didn't think of it.

TL;DR - Great food, but might come with hair. Avoid the salad with the veal.
