Dr Michelle Quinn in Audiology has truly improved the quality of my life with my ever increasing complicated hearing issues.

I’ve worn aids for 45 years; She is the best I’ve seen … If you can imagine how many times I’ve seen providers for fittings, tests, problems, routine appts etc. across the US since I was a kid, that should speak volumes.

She is busy. She usually books at least three months out.

I’m not sure if it’s just me but looking at the reviews, it’s not just me. I came into the Emergency Department after a very scary medical  complication. I had never been in this amount of pain in my life. And I had never seen that much blood. I needed an ultrasound and a couple tests. I wasn’t asked if I needed water or a snack or blankets or anything. When I was told to go pee in a cup, the bathrooms made me feel SO immensely disgusting. There was poop and blood and vomit ALL OVER THE BATHROOM from the person who had previously used it and in the other bathroom had some dude who was having withdrawals. When I was walked to the back, I get that it’s really busy and chaotic, but there was ZERO privacy. This man had literal foam coming out of his mouth probably from a withdrawal and nobody seemed to be paying any attention or had any genuine concern or reason to pick up the speed. In fact the nurses were having the time of their lives laughing and running around like they didn’t chose this career to HELP PEOPLE?! I had to voice my whole story in-front of the whole ER which should be a HIPPA violation. I was there for 12 hours in agony and disgust of the state of this emergency rooms. Do not come here if you are looking for good bedside manner, up to standard rooms/ health codes, 10+ hour wait times. And NO FREAKING PARKING. I drove through THREE entire parking garages until I found one and then had to walk all the way across the entire hospital to get to the emergency room. Good Trauma and research teams, but avoid the ER at all costs‼️‼️

I’m never step a foot in the ER. I spent a total of 10 hours there—eight hours waiting for a CT scan and two additional hours before antibiotics were even administered. My doctor sent me to the ER to rule out possible diverticulitis and any perforation.

Diverticulitis is chronic for me, and trips to the ER are, unfortunately, common for the same reason. But In my previous experiences at other ERs, a CT scan and the necessary treatment have rarely taken more than two or three hours. Ten hours is absolutely excessive and inexcusable. Because of this, I will not return to your facility, nor will I recommend it to anyone else.

I hope you will take immediate steps to address these systemic delays and improve patient care. Training your staff to say, “Thank you for your patience; we know it’s a long wait,” is not enough. Patients need more than sympathy—we need concrete actions. Considering that an ER visit can cost at least $8,000 (according to my bills) to such delays are both outrageous and inexcusable.

A possible solution you should consider is providing an estimated wait time for patients—using historical data and the severity of their conditions should be enough and easy to do —and, if necessary, recommending other ERs with potentially shorter wait times.

Human Resources & Payroll never answers the phone. Very concerning to not have Human Resources answer the phone. This is our first contact when employees feel push back from management or if they have discrimination issue ( The office is not even in the same building which is concerning as well).You could leave multiple voicemails but that doesn't do any good. Human Resources tend to not follow up.

In regards to Payroll that place never answers. Which is another concern. It's just very sad to see this type of structure at Harborview.

Harborview Medical Center has truly changed my life and helped me beyond measure. The care team they've provided me at the Regional Epilepsy Center cannot be described. I'm so thankful for all of the amazing staff & employees here. Thank you for everything you do for people in the region.

The Harborview cafeteria is the best hospital cafeteria I have ever experienced. From the meal deal to Thursday morning scones to happy hour coffee it can't be beat. The food is delicious, nutritious, and well-priced. The staff is always exceptionally friendly and helpful and I look forward to checking in with them in the middle of my day. The ambiance is as bustling as the hospital itself and a great place to run into colleagues. Would recommend!

I like the great variety of food options. It is incredible how tasty the food is that is being made in such large quantity. The fish is never dry and I would vote the fries some of the best in Seattle! Staff is super friendly and hard working. Best of all is the $4.95 Meal Deal!

Amazing food, super reasonably priced, kind staff is the short story. I ate there for at least one, if not two, meals per day for over a week while a family member was a patient there. A few of the items were super creative, and nearly all of them are well-executed. When we go back for clinic appointments, we usually will stop and eat there! We highly recommend.

I got stomach paaaainz. Feed me . Harborview cafeteria is pretty run of the mill for hospital food in my book. Nothings particularly bad but nothing's great. There's a grill section, hot food, salad bar, and refrigerated items. I'm always a little surprised that food runs on the pricier side but options while you're in the hospital are pretty limited. On the bright side tho, the staff is always pleasant! Stay hungry friends!

The Harborview main cafeteria is outstanding. The breakfast is consistently delicious, and the eggs are never runny. The coffee is perfectly made. The hot food line is also superb with a solid $5 dollar meal with a drink! The salad bar is fresh. They have a full drink selection. The cafe also has great offerings including ice cream from Olympic mountain ice cream!!! If you ask nicely they will split your serving into two cups to share. The Grill station is on point with a mean grilled cheese. Red pepper gouda bisque is an excellent pairing! Finally they are opened very late at night sometimes (Espresso Bar) with full menus too! The cashiers also always tell you to have a nice day! This place is solid!!!

Nothing against the cooks/employees = they work hard and are golden. this 1 star is for the head chef that orders food and creates the menu. Breakfast is appalling. 3+ types of bread and starches offered. 4+ types of meats offered. 0 HOT Veggie. 0 Fruit. It doesn't matter how much you give feedback.....there will be no change. Just excuses. 4 years ago the head chef was amazing.....buying locally. always fresh veggies and hot veggies (not just over-priced cold, soggy lettuce in a container). But, hey - about every 3 days there is overpriced fruit in a container for lunch. literally - $3+ dollars for a half cup of fruit. its a joke. DO BETTER - WE ALL CAN!

Since we were here I told my nephew we had eat here because most hospital and government buildings I've been to has a good cafeteria. This cafeteria was on point. Busy is a good sign. I got my go to is a hamburger and fries and it was perfect especially for the price. My nephew got the hot entree pork chop casserole and scarfed it to the tee. So if you happen to be at HMC stop by the cafeteria and get something to eat.

I don't eat here often but I usually regret coming here when I do which is 1x a month or less. Personally, I don't find their entrees, soups, or salad bar appealing so I usually order from the grill. But it's expensive, not very good, and SLOW! The grilled cheese is greasy, the burgers dry/very little cheese, and the omelets have WAY too much cheese. The fries are good though. I've canceled orders several times because I couldn't wait anymore (and had already waited 15+min). Also, I'm sure most of the staff serving are nice but some are rather rude.

I buy food here almost daily. I'm usually in a hurry so I rarely use the hot food line. Some things are outstanding--The scones on Thursday mornings, the clam or salmon chowder on Fridays and the Banh Mi sandwiches. Also the grilled hamburgers (if you have time). It's hard to start the day without a cup of the excellent coffee from the spigots here. The prices are consistently lower than the UWMC cafeteria. The people who work here are nice, take pride in the work and most have been around for a long time. The clientele? Everyone from all walks of life, comes to Harborview, and there is a feeling of community here that you can't find in any other hospital in the region.

The food is good but the coffee in the cafeteria is so hot that it actually burned the roof of my mouth to the point of blistering.
