Casual luxurious place to get dessert! The chocolate cake is amazing, and I was craving savory finger foods after but unfortunately the croquette bitterballen wasn't quite fulfilling. For mostly Indonesian, it's really comfortable using the QRIS option for payment; they don't accept it here though. Only cash and cards.

The waitresses are nice and super helpful! Love y'all!

A memorable place with food to forget

Sofia is a restaurant located as part of the Gunawarman hotel. Upon arrival, the parking space is full, so we have to take valet.

The interior of this place is straight out of classical european architecture, with a high ceiling, wooden wall panels, and furniture, something that is uncommon in Indonesia.

The waiters are friendly, soft-spoken, and always responsive, which is what I would expect from a fine dining restaurant.

The food however, is not as delicious as I would hope for. The salmon is juicy and savoury, but the scallops are plain. The wagyu beef from the salad is also quite bland, and the spiciness of the salad does not suit my tongue. East Asian Mojito has a sweet fizzling feeling upon drinking, but the Pink Fuzzy does not taste as strong.

Overall, if you're looking for a photogenic european style fine dining, this place should definitely come up to the list. However, the food is something that might just not be as memorable as the place

It is very atmospheric and very tasty. The Nirma waiter is super professional, as rarely do I meet. It is so rare for restaurants to have employees who create mood, comfort, are responsive, lively and can easily solve any issue. Thank you for our evening and for our breakfast.

Came here to have year end dinner with a group of 6, they seated us on the dining table at the corner of the room (not near the window) but overall it was the best dinner I’ve ever had for 2023.

All food was delicious, from western to Indonesian, it was top notch. Fried mushroom, croquette, fried calamari and mushroom soup was our entree and all of them was tasty. My favorite was the Truffle Ravioli, which took so long to be ready but understood because apparently it was the highlight of my dinner. The truffle was aromatic and the ravioli itself was so soft it melts in your mouth. Desserts was okay, we are particularly mindblowned by the food. Would recommend and come again if there is something worth to celebrate (since the price was pricy but it was worth it!).
