The old styled gothic decoration and Bach music are pretty good. But sadly the coffee is really not good. It is not the matter of coffee thick or thin. Even with all those variety of choices for beans, i get to doubt the quality of coffee.. So if what u wanted is coffee, not a good choice. And of course it isnt worth the price. Seems like always 1000yen. And yeah, the master is almoat rudely blunt.

Unique spot with an overwhelming coffee menu. Wish we had spent more time in Hiroshima just for this. The coffee selection is a literal book and preparation requires some patience. We had a green (unroasted) coffee from Hawaii. It had certain qualities like tea but finished with a definite coffee flavor. I enjoyed the experience of each sip. The owner was extremely knowledgeable but also interested. I'm sure he has something for everyone.

The nice old man who works there knows his coffee well. You can pretty much customize your coffee as much as you like. He even has recommendations according to your tastes. The cafè has a very retro German vibe with lots of protestant symbols and classical German music.

We had a delicious coffee and the man who runs the place is super friendly. He even got us a cab afterwards. The coffee itself was very good and we can only recommend this place to others.

Really cool ambiance, get the bitter coffee as it has more flavor.  The price is a little high for what you get though.
