I stayed for 6 nights and 7 days at Centara Grand Hotel Osaka. It was my first time visiting Osaka, and I made the reservation with great expectations. Before my arrival, I had some questions regarding the accommodation, and the staff was extremely kind in responding to my inquiries via email. Upon my arrival, I was amazed by the cleanliness and neatness of the room assigned to me on the 25th floor. The room was very well maintained, and the view of Osaka from the hotel was breathtaking and truly moving. During my stay, as it was my birthday, the hotel kindly surprised me with a warm welcome snack and a handwritten letter. I was deeply touched by this service. Throughout my stay, I received excellent service from the concierge and housekeeping. It’s hard to even try to summarize the experience in just a few words—it would be an understatement. I would rate this as the best hotel experience of my life. I am truly grateful to all the staff who made my stay so memorable. Thank you.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Centara Grand Osaka, and it was truly an exceptional experience. As a new hotel, everything felt fresh, modern, and impeccably clean. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the excellent service—the staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and always ready to assist.

One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning city view from my room. Whether during the day or at night, the panoramic view of Osaka was breathtaking. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The hotel’s location is also perfect, with easy access to major attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation.

Considering the level of luxury and service provided, I can confidently say that it was worth the price. I had a fantastic experience and will definitely come back on my next trip to Osaka. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxury hotel experience!

We’ve just returned from a 12 day trip in Japan. The hotel is rated a 5 star, I have stayed at many 5 star hotels, this is at best a 4 star. I am being kind to due the staff being great and switching our room.  The rooms are small and the building seemed to have a sewage smell. We had to buy some spray, the  train also runs near the hotel and can be loud, we were on one of the higher floors. We also bought the breakfast buffet included, I would recommend eating at the nearby namba parks. It was not worth it. Overall we wouldn’t stay here again due to rating not being truthful but the staff was kind and we did appreciate that.

The location - centrally located with easy access to public transport and shopping as the hotel is wedged among electronic mall (just a few steps away) and 2 buildings that are filled with restaurant (with some trendy and lifestyle boutiques and shops). Then as usual there are more of general shopping with all the generic brands and famous brands area beyond these 3 buildings.

The rooms were quite spacious. The room size is very good if you have lots of stuff and you need to spread open all your suitcases. However, the room is not suitable for working as they don’t have desk. There was no bathtub or double sink. The normal amenities were provided. Rather than drawers and closet, the room has only open hanger closet are which wasn’t the best but handy if you do laundry in the room and excellent way to air out yakiniku smoke from your clothes into the room.

The roof top whiskey bar has indoor and outdoor space with nice few. The bar was pretty full at night and they did not allow me to take table for 2 although it was available. They insisted I could only sit at the tiny bar area. So I opted to sit outside with my whiskey.
1. The whiskey choices was sad as a whiskey bar. Why even call it Whiskey bar.
2. It was unnecessarily cold and windy that night. There were a few table occupied outdoor. The manager was too cheap to turn on the heater but eventually he did turn on the heater because he was invited to sit in by one of the table and he couldn’t stand the chill after 10 minutes. Truly a laughable experience.

If you need to work, there’s coffee shop with a few tables. However, tiny table would be having a hard time accommodating your coffee and laptop. So I suggest go to coffee shop near by - it wasn’t worth the struggle.

Breakfast was Ok.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Centara Grand Hotel. I booked this as a birthday trip and they surprised me with a cake when I checked in! Their corner room was also the biggest room I’ve ever stayed at in Japan! It had a very good view of Namba Park Mall. As a hotel guest, you also have 15% off for their restaurants and bars and spa service, which are all very good quality. I tasted their food when I used in-room dining and the quality was excellent! They even kept the soup warm in a thermos when they delivered it to the room. All the services were easy to access with their app, which you can download by scanning their QR code in your hotel room. The customer service is top notch and it was easy to communicate as they’re all fluent in English. Strongly recommend this hotel to everyone and I’ll definitely come back when I visit Japan again!
