Overall, it was good, but since it had been a while since my last visit, the place felt a bit dated. I stayed in a suite on a rainy day, and there was a slight leak. The breakfast area was crowded, but the food was good, and I enjoyed using the fitness center and swimming pool.

I had an exceptional experience at JW Marriott, thanks to the outstanding service from [didn’t catch her name but she was working at the executive lounge on 2/15/2025 approximately 1600ish - short hair in white dress/uniform]. She was incredibly kind during the checkout process and even surprised me with a Valentine’s Day cake, which earned me major brownie points with my wife! Given past reviews, I didn’t expect much, but I was completely wrong—her warm and thoughtful service truly made my stay memorable. Kudos to her and the team for going above and beyond!

Wonderful experience at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Sq. Since day, the customer service was fantastic, especially the service I received from Ruby Jung and Ellie at the Executive Lounge. They were amazing, always helpful and happy to answer any questions I had. Both ladies made a huge difference!

The location of the hotel was great, right next to the subway. The area is filled with shops and restaurants. It was very safe to walk at any time of the day or night. The food was also amazing. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The gym was big with many different machines and free weights. I just wish they were open earlier, but still a great area to workout.

I will definitely be back! Thank you so much.

Fantastic hotel, service could not be better. Location is amazing. Great breakfast buffet. Great executive lounge...
Subway right below hotel, don't even have to go outside. Historical wall city gate, great for a hike to see some urban neighborhoods.
