The hotel was overcrowded. The service provided was substandard. The breakfast spread was less than average. It was like a fish market crowded ,language barrier .The first day breakfast that I had in some hall - felt like I’m at a wedding party where people are fighting for food, the whole ambience was dead and unappetising. The second second day I was adamant that I will have it in the proper restaurant so that i could eat . Absolute waste of money, people with families must refrain because it’s very crowded. There is no extra service or you know help provided, even if you have kids unlike other hotels where they want to make sure that the kids and the families are made to be felt at home, never coming back, even though we are members of Hyatt, this particular night trip was very sad. I mean being in Middle East. I thought this was going to be a luxury property but trust me the other Hyatt properties are like really, really good.

A classic, elegant, and very inviting hotel.
We enjoyed ourselves very much,
The hotel is large and impressive, the staff is nice and makes a great effort, the gym and spa are wonderful, ABHINAV from the front desk took care of us all the time.
We will definitely return to the hotel.

Don’t bother with the Hyatt Regency Dubai—it’s a total rip-off. I stayed from March 19-23, 2025, with my family, and it’s no 5-star hotel. Check-in was a slow-motion disaster after a long flight, with rude security waking me from a lobby nap. Staff couldn’t even explain how to find our room or the pool. They demanded a £105 deposit and £8 nightly tax—absurd for a ‘luxury’ hotel—then only refunded in Dirhams, screwing you on exchange rates.

The rooms were trash: no extra bed ready for my son, just a noisy, hard relic when it finally arrived, plus not enough towels or slippers. We got split across floors despite begging to stay together, forcing us through a dirty, dangerous stairwell. Breakfast was a tasteless, Indian-only mess with zero variety. The main pool was closed, leaving a tiny, filthy rooftop puddle with no dress code—street clothes in the water? Disgusting. Location? A million miles from anything fun—45-minute drives to Burj Khalifa or Global Village.

Positives? None. It’s a holiday-ruining dump. Stay anywhere else.

We had a short stay at the hotel to freshen up, and it was a pleasant experience. The staff was very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage even after checkout. The rooms were clean and cozy.

This is a hotel that has a good legacy and has the potential to be run much better. Good location, views, rooms, facilities, service, grandeur, and a lot of things are well done but one of the most important things - breakfast food and how it is managed, just let you down so much here. This experience is based on the breakfast buffet alone but for 4 days straight and nothing much changed on any of these days.
Gets EXTREMELY crowded during breakfast and the experience is far from pleasant. Poorly managed and it was very disappointing. Good efforts from all the people providing the service at the hotel, but it's just too disappointing to see that tables are not available, you have to go to another restaurant elsewhere in the hotel or sit in the ballroom for breakfast where there is hardly any service, some dishes are not available, etc., etc... it's too much to talk about.
I repeat, this has the potential to do much better despite being one of the oldest (45 years), big hotels in the area.
Note - this is not the only big hotel I stayed at while in Dubai, this is not the only Hyatt I have stayed at.
