Fantastic hotel, hands down one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe. The location cannot be beat. Staff is professional, kind and helpful. Our room was gorgeous, spacious, spotless clean, high tech with all possible amenities for a lovely stay. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of selection both sweet and savory and amazing coffee. Honestly my only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! We will absolutely be back next time we travel to Vienna. I could not recommend this hotel more. A++++

Wow! When we picked this hotel we knew it would be in the center, but we didn't know how centric it would actually be. WOW! It is like everything in the city revolves around the cathedral.

Anyhow, we got to the hotel and our room wasn't going to be ready until later because it was still quite early in the morning. So we left our bags in the reception and went for a bit of sightseeing.

We got back a few hours later and our room was all done. The only thing we would have liked different was the view from the room. We got the view facing towards the inner courtyard, and not facing the cathedral.

Other than that, everyone was super friendly at the front desk and at breakfast. They helped us with everything we asked for during our whole stay. We are already making plans to go back to the same hotel.

Our last stay at a hotel was in fact somewhat of a disappointment in the breakfast and service sections, so this hotel was a huge improvement in all aspects imaginable. The breakfast was awesome every morning and it doesn't hurt that you can have glass of bubbly in the AM. The view towards the cathedral helps.

We truly loved our stay at this hotel. We will visit again.

This was — quite literally — the best hotel experience that I’ve ever had. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world, and this was unbeatable.
1.) obviously perfect location
2.) view!
3.) the staff were all warm, helpful, and kind. They seemed to love their job.
4.) room was extremely clean. Usually, we have to clean hotel rooms a bit extra when we arrive. Not here.
5.) the breakfast buffet was insane! Healthy options, sweet options, specialty juices, themed treats… wow 🥺
6.) we got tons of little gifts when we arrived! We got autumn themed glasses, lots of candies, snacks, drinks…🥹

Possibly the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The location couldn’t have been more central - we stepped out of the underground and there it was opposite one of the most stunning landmarks in Vienna. We had a room overlooking the Cathedral and it was utterly breathtaking. The staff were super friendly and welcomed us with a glass of fizz as we checked in and at breakfast the next day our friend’s birthday was marked with a cake and Prosecco! The rooms had everything you could want and were cleaned daily and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. All staff were very friendly, welcoming and very helpful and we would never come to Vienna and stay anywhere else again! Amazing value for what we paid too, Thank you

I had an outstanding experience at Hotel am Stephansplatz.  The location is unbeatable, being right in Innere Stadt, and right next to a metro stop and tons of shopping. Also, despite the hotel being right in the middle of everything, it feels very private and secure. Every feature of the hotel feels well designed and of high quality - the door handles, the windows, the elevator - everything just feels sturdy.  The morning breakfast is also wonderful, with views looking right out onto the cathedral.  I'll 100% be staying again when I'm back in Vienna.
