A Romanian tourist here, and I felt welcomed by the friendly staff who do speak English. The atmosphere is calm, especially in the afternoon.

I ordered a chocolate drink and the duck confit.

The drink was a bit disappointing, powdered chocolate to make the drink and some cinnamon on top. The duck confit was tender and pretty good, though it was a little bland flavourwise, and their potatoes were hot, but devoid of any salt. The Bread was good, but a little old.

Would recommend if you really want to eat, but you can definitely find better places in terms of food.

My friend and I visited this cafe because it appears in Taylor Swift's Begin Again music video. When we arrived around 12:40pm on a weekday, there was plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. We selected indoors to see the booth though another group was sitting there at the time. We ordered a matcha latte and hot chocolate. Both drinks were great! Service was a little slow, possibly because we were indoors, so be prepared for a more leisurely visit. Once the other group left, we were able to get some pictures with the booth in the music video

American tourist visiting France in May 2024, around 4:30 pm looking for a little snack to get us through until dinner later, bonus we wanted to see the “Begin Again” cafe from Taylor Swift’s music video. The staff was friendly and helped us find other menus items as main dinner didn’t start until 5:30. We ordered espresso martinis, planche de frommages, planche de charcuterie, magnifique mozzarella de bufala. Multiple bread courses be used we kept eating and the waiter kept bringing us more; delish! Coincidentally ended up sitting in the exact corner booth with window view Taylor filmed in.

An outstanding bistro in the heart of Paris, the food here was superb. They were very accommodating on a hot lunchtime in Paris, sitting us inside and supplying us with plenty of cold drinks and ice. The menu is limited but the standard of food was very good, I had the duck confit and it was exceptional.  The staff were very friendly and they took the time to go through the menu and spoke to us in English despite my attempts at broken French.  The place was very busy which is a good sign. I would highly recommend searching this bistro out for something to eat or even just a drink and watch the world go by

As French as it gets! The confit duck and fish of the day were incredible. I learned here that French food is about simple flavours that really stand out, thank you so much I highly recommend this place I can’t wait to go back 🥳
