Very conveniently located hotel with a full complement of amenities. We were able to make full use of the Samsung TV's SmartSwitch and stream videos directly from my phone and Galaxy tab. We eschewed visiting the ostentatiously placed Greek restaurant in front of the hotel but chose to visit a Korean restaurant instead, of which there are many, well worth a visit. Sissi, a little Austrian restaurant nearby proved to be quite interesting as well. Some convenience stores in Germany only accept cash so make sure you have got some.

The hotel breakfast was all right, with those quaint German coffee cans which brought up memories from staying at a Gasthof in Tirol. I liked it that we could bring our dog and head out straight away to town after breakfast was out of the way but missed the particular German kind of sliced hams, I think it's called "Jagdwurst'.  Admittedly, it's nothing special really  but yet, being so far East in Europe, one would expect some proper  Bavarian influences and what not, perhaps some Tiroler huttekase to boot. The cute silver coffee cans opened the door to a more German style breakfast, but it was more Continental than German.

Do remind yourself to bring a physical bank card with you as they do not accept bio-metric mobile solutions for banking (Google pay/ Apple pay). I struggled to remember my pincode after not having the need to use my card anywhere for over a year. :)

In short, great amenities provided with many good places to visit nearby but be advised that German banking could come across as slightly antiquated, especially when considering I would be paying by fingerprint or by hand palm recognition in more advanced countries.

This hotel is Classic! Great location. The rooms are specious with lovely views. I have been there 2x. There’s gym and pool. they keep the high level of costumer service. Highly recommend it.

I really liked the location of the hotel. It's 8-10 minutes by car to the city center. The hotel is spotless. The rooms are also very clean and nice. The staff is really very nice. I thank them all very much. The breakfasts were also very nice. If I go to Berlin, I will definitely go here again.

The Intercontinental Berlin has its strong points, but unfortunately, the Club Lounge experience was a major letdown compared to other Intercontinental properties worldwide. Unlike other locations where canapés are freely available, here you have to order them, wait for them, and are limited to just one per person—something I’ve never encountered at any other Intercontinental. The afternoon tea selection was also disappointing, consisting of basic, low-quality cake bites and biscuits etc, whereas most other lounges offer a far superior spread. It really feels like they’ve cut corners here.

The room itself was comfortable, but I was surprised that the king-size bed didn’t come with a proper king-size duvet. Instead, it had two twin duvets, and I had to request a proper one along with a mattress topper for added comfort.

On the positive side, breakfast was very good, the service throughout the hotel was friendly and professional, and the spa was absolutely lovely—very relaxing and well-maintained. However, given the significantly downgraded Club Lounge experience, I can’t say this property meets the usual Intercontinental standard. If access to a high-quality lounge is important to you, you may want to look elsewhere.

I really enjoyed my stay at Intercontinental Berlin and I’ll probably be back the next time I visit.

The rooms have been recently renovated so they were large, comfortable, and beautiful. I used the gym every day and the equipment they had was really diverse, I enjoyed my workouts a lot. The breakfast at LA Cafe exceeded expectations! Most important was the service from the front desk was excellent and I felt really welcome.

There was nothing negative during my entire stay so I’m a very happy customer.
