Good hotel, but has some service issues.

An example is that at breakfast, they allow people from the Too Good To Go service for surplus food, to bag up and take food, while people staying at the hotel who are paying for the food wait.

Other than this, pretty great!
I do recommend it to people in the area, though I would like if they changed how the breakfast worked so that it go bagged up when it actually was surplus.

I absolutely loved my stay. The bed was so comfortable. The cleanliness was 10/10 - I noticed the sink was cleaned everyday. The vanity mirror (outside bathroom) has a plug point next to to it as well as a full length mirror. The location is perfect being a few steps away from the station so it’s accessible to travel anywhere. The view was lovely. Most of all I would like to thank Hans-Luca who helped us when I was unwell and sourced a doctor to come straight to the hotel on a Sunday when everything was shut. Thanks so much for a lovely stay

Overall a nice hotel.  Hallways and elevators have a smoke smell unfortunately. Breakfast and valet were nice as was overall service.

Stayed one night in Berlin before flying out to Doha.  The Westin Grand was the perfect base for our short stay - rooms are new, spacious and clean.  All of the main sights are within easy walking distance.  Staff were  really lovely, from check-in to the concierge, all very helpful.  I've only marked service down a star because we tried to get a cocktail at the bar after dinner and we were totally ignored so gave up and went to bed.  Outside of that, this place is a great base for exploring Berlin in 24hrs.

I recently stayed at the Westin Berlin, and while the hotel offers a great location and comfortable rooms, there were a few issues that affected my stay.

First, the check-in process needs improvement. The queue was unclear, leading to confusion and discussions among guests about who should be helped first. A better-organized system would easily fix this. Additionally, the friendliness of the check-in desk staff could use some work. A more welcoming and professional approach would make the arrival experience more pleasant.

Second, the room temperature was too warm. The hotel’s air conditioning system only activates if the outside temperature is above 14°C, but that doesn’t mean the room cools down. My room remained stuffy and hot, and when I asked for a solution, they only offered a fan, which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard.

Additionally, on the day of check-out, the cleaning staff tried to enter my room at 11 AM while I was still there. I would expect the hotel to have a list of guests checking out, so this interruption felt unnecessary, especially since check-out time hadn’t passed.

Finally, be aware that there is piano music in the lobby every evening until around 11 PM. If your room is near the lifts or stairs, you will definitely hear it, which could be bothersome if you’re sensitive to noise or trying to sleep early.

I hope the hotel addresses these issues, as they detract from what could have been a much better experience.
