Wow! We came to Berchtesgaden to enjoy a nice fire and some snow and found an absolute amazing dinner experience. Our service (thanks Martin) was equal to the whimsy and innovative dishes that delighted our tastebuds. We enjoyed the 5 course (with maybe a 6th snuck in there) but would have equally enjoyed the full 7 course. The wine pairing was spot on, and we really enjoyed Martin’s selections and enthusiasm for the pairings. Don’t miss this culinary delight tucked away in the beautiful mountains.

Wir hatten hier in der Gruppe eine gediegene Weihnachtsfeier der feinsten Art 😍. Die Begrüßung war überaus herzlich und der Service war den ganzen Abend perfekt. Der ungarische Küchenchef Zsolt Fodor hat sogar Speisen serviert und erklärt, es war ein Hochgenuß und ebenfalls lustig. Der slowakische Sommelier Bielik Martin hat hervorragende Weine dazu kredenzt und immer geschaut, dass unser Glas nicht leer wurde.
Dieses Abendessen ist ein besonderes Hightlight was noch lange in Erinnerung bleibt und bei einem schönen Anlass wiederholt werden muss 😋.
Dieses Lokal ist für Feinschmecker wärmstens zu empfehlen und das Ambiente ist sehr heimelig schön.

Here in the group we had a dignified Christmas party of the finest kind 😍. The welcome was extremely warm and the service was perfect throughout the evening. The Hungarian chef Zsolt Fodor even served food and said it was a delight and also funny. The Slovakian sommelier Bielik Martin served excellent wines and always made sure that our glass wasn't empty.
This dinner is a special highlight that will be remembered for a long time and has to be repeated on a nice occasion 😋.
This restaurant is highly recommended for foodies and the ambience is very homely.

Warum in die Ferne schweifen, wenn das Gute liegt so nah? Diesen Spruch können wir auf das Solo Du jedenfalls anwenden. Die liegen nämlich in unserem Landkreis, bis gestern waren wir aber noch nicht da. Das wird sich aber ändern, denn es war wirklich sehr gut in allen Belangen. Was wir alles gegessen haben sieht man auf den Fotos. Es sah nicht nur alles gut aus sondern schmeckte auch alles hervorragend! Zudem war der Service erstklassig. Das kann unter anderem daran gelegen haben, dass wir nur 4 Gäste waren und sich der Sommelière deshalb besonders intensiv um uns kümmern konnte. Ein paar der Gänge wurden aber auch vom Chefkoch selber serviert, das gibt’s auch nicht überall.
Das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön, also wirklich nichts zum Aussetzen!

Why wander into the distance when the good is so close? We can definitely apply this saying to the solo you. They are in our district, but we weren't there until yesterday. But that will change, because it was really very good in all respects. You can see what we ate in the photos. Not only did everything look good, but everything tasted great too! In addition, the service was first class. This may have been due, among other things, to the fact that there were only four of us guests and the sommelier was therefore able to take particularly intensive care of us. A few of the courses were also served by the chef himself, which isn't available everywhere.
The ambience is also very nice, so really nothing to complain about!
