Lovely hotel on the Aventine hill. It has a classical style to it, which was very much to our liking. The area is very quiet, yet vibrant to a certain extent. Touristic hotspots such as Circo Massimo are very accessible from here. The staff is very friendly and supportive of your needs. The included breakfast was simple and good, varying from croissants to toasts to cakes. And of course, there was excellent coffee as well. Our bed was very good and there was plenty of space to store stuff. We had a big terrace on the third floor with an amazing and sunny view over Rome.

Beautiful boutique hotel situated in a lovely, quiet neighborhood that was still within walking distance of the Colosseum, Circus Maximus and much more. Lovely bar/lounge where we sat and had local wine.  Lots of restaurant options close by but we chose room service from The Hill and it was amazing! We only speak English and they were very accommodating.

Hotel San Anselmo is a beautiful hotel situated in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to everywhere you’d want to go. Our stay was perfect in every way.

The breakfast was fabulous, with a great variety and quality. The staff, from the cleaning ladies to the receptionists and everyone in between, were excellent—always friendly and helpful. The hotel is very dog-friendly, and we felt incredibly welcome.

Our room had everything we needed, including a balcony, bath, and shower. We also had a secured parking space, which was very handy. The hotel features a small garden where you can enjoy your breakfast, adding to the overall charm.

Overall, we give Hotel San Anselmo a 10/10 and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a delightful stay.
