The food is great. However, the service was extremely slow as the waiter lost our order even though we were only 2 tables in the restaurant. The prices were pretty fair, especially with the fact that the atmosphere around the place is not the loveliest. Overall, I’d recommend it only for the food quality but otherwise you could totally skip it.

As an American tourist traveling solo, I came to Rome and spent 36 hours here. Before coming to Suburra, I hadn’t tried any kind of Carbonara or Cacio e Pepe in Italy, which I was urged by many friend to do. So…on my last night I did both…here. They probably thought that I was just an over-fed American, which I am….except I work out so two pastas are fine especially after touring the Vatican and Colesseum today. I do feel bad for the person sitting next to me on the plane home, because I’m definitely lactose intolerant haha but long story short, I would 100% recommend Osteria Della Suburra. Great food and the Cocco de Casa (I think that’s what it’s called) were very good. Feels like a true family owned restaurant, not a tourist trap, which there are MANY around here.

Wonderfully cute local place with amazing food! Best pasta we had in Rome!! We came back again because it was so good 😂 For dinner they open at 7pm / 19h. Delicious dessert options too!

Food is great!! The pasta and mushrooms, both local specialties, were cooked perfectly. But the location? Meh. It’s just a side street outside of a subway station. Sure, it’s walking distance from the Coliseum, but don’t go out of your way to eat here like I did. If you happen to be nearby, maybe give it a shot. Otherwise, skip it.

Perfect traditional small, family Italian restaurant. U can find here nice fresh and traditional home made italian food, great prices and for the wine lovers 1 ltr of house very nice wine only 10 €. Will be back here again
