I hadn't used the Milan metro for  28 years, and unsurprisingly it had changed in that time - for the better!

The number of lines has expanded for one, and there are clear maps of the network on the platforms.

To pay, I tapped in with my bank card at one end and out at the other.

Unreliable to the point where it’s just useless. The 94 seems to be permanently out of service. At least I haven’t seen it in days. Abysmal!!!
