Lovely hotel nestled on magnificent grounds. The staff was outstanding, you can tell they pay attention to any and all details with the little things they do, from the valet to concierge, to waitstaff and housekeeping and more. We had a relaxing stay and hope to return again in the future.

The views from this hotel are spectacular. There was a guy playing a guitar in the background while we sat in this gorgeous terrace. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to have a nice drink outside and take in the scenery. The food here is supposed to be good too but I haven’t tried it… one for the list!

Heaven truly is a place on earth!! The views! The light! In addition the village of Deià is a wonderful, safe little gem to explore and enjoy. Returning is a case of “not if but when…. “

Update: The manager of La Residencia reached out to me after seeing my review and asked to speak with me about my experience. He was very respectful and listened to my comments and apologized for his staff for how I was treated. I appreciated that he actually took the time to look into this and try to get more information about what happened so he can address it with his staff.

I went to one of the restaurants at La Residencia for dinner while staying in Mallorca. After dinner my group of friends decided to take some pictures on the balcony. We started chatting with some of the other guests who were sitting on the balcony and ended up having a bunch of nice conversations with other restaurant guests (all of whom were also hotel guests). While we were chatting a restaurant or hotel manager came up to my group and told us to leave very rudely and said "the show is over ladies" and kicked us out of the restaurant terrace. This was after we had a meal at the restaurant and had spent over 700 euros there. I understand that this is a high end hotel, however all of us who had gone to dinner have stayed at hotels in this price range and have never been treated this way before. The hotel manager had no idea whether we were guests at the hotel or not and the fact that he broke up conversations that we were having with hotel guests was ridiculous.

His comments and tone of voice were also incredibly disrespectful. We were not being loud and we were chatting with other guests of the hotel/restaurant. Additionally a few of the guests came up to our group and asked us to take pictures of them on the terrace. The hotel manager did not yell at them or kick them off the terrace.
