Very welcoming and accommodating staff. Lovely clean room and confy beds. Breakfast was great, good selection of things to choose from. It was nice to have the pool as well. We would definitely stay here again.

I moved here after one night at the Sonder hotel a block away (not a nice place). This hotel is a bargain! And so nice. Simple. The courtyard is beautiful and the breakfast was really nice. Room was simple and totally adequate. Its not a five star experience, but it is exactly what i paid for and i am thankful to have found it. Service folks at front desk and kitchen were cool too. Location is perfect, on a quieter block than nearby attractions but still close. I see some reviews mentions people, but those reviewers are imho naive. Barcelona is a big city and all big cities have homeless populations. These people are down on their luck and deserve compassion, not hateful disparaging by judgmental foreigners. They are not dangerous aside from their impact to a privileged world traveller’s sense of personal entitlement.

This is a great hotel very close to La Rambla and I'd definitely stay here again. The room was spotless and quiet. I was in room 401 right beside the lifts, and I never heard them once. I also never heard the people in the room above me. The hotel is generally quiet. I was able to leave the window open without it being bothersome. The staff I interacted with were all very friendly and professional. The shower was hot and with good pressure. I LOVED the breakfast selection, in particular, the albóndigas (meatballs). It's not something I'd ever consider having for breakfast, but believe me, it works. They also had scrambled eggs, mini sausages, mixed peppers, sauteed mushrooms, chips (fries), roasted tomatoes and courgettes (zucchini). There was also a selection of cold hams and cheeses, pastries, muffins, and of course juices. I can't fault it. This feels more like a 4-star hotel than a 3-star hotel. It took 25 minutes to get here from the airport, but most of that was stuck in traffic leaving the airport. Once we got to the city it was much quicker. If you're going on a cruise, it's a short taxi ride away. It IS walkable, but it will take between 40 minutes and an hour, depending on how fast you walk, and I wouldn't want to do that pulling a large suitcase. Close to the hotel (about 20 metres away, part of the same building) is a Carrefour Express supermarket, which has nearly everything you'll need if you find you've run short of something. All in all, an excellent hotel and if I'm ever in Barcelona again, I will definitely stay here.

Very pleasant stay, close to lots of shops, restaurants (walking distance). Rooms are very clean, staff super friendly and helpful. Love the effort that is put into the hotel to save energies where possible without restricting convenience. The breakfast is a delight. So much more than an American breakfast, healthier options, and lots more food choices.  The rooms are not overly luxurious, but nothing is amiss. Highly recommended for a couple of days stay!

The area is a bit dodgy… homeless out the front hence you need to use your room key to get in to the reception area of the hotel!

Sustainable!! 🤨 Paper cups are supplied on arrival but not replaced daily!!
Wouldn’t it be more sustainable to have glasses / clean / reuse????
Only dispensable soap / no shampoo / No coffee making facilities although everything is downstairs in the foyer from a vending machine at a price!!

There’s issues with the air-conditioning as “nothing dried”!! We’ve been in Spain for 4 weeks and this is the first time we’ve experienced this problem!! 🤦‍♀️

The reception staff were great with their restaurant recommendations & using the metro!!

The rooftop bar was a great space although smaller than expected!!

Would I stay again? Probably not!!
