Jag och min flickvän har varit vegetarianer i tio år och lyckats undvika att äta kött ända tills vi beställde en "vegetarisk" kantarellmacka på Blankas. I menyn stod de vegetariska ingredienserna listade och det stod "veg" inom parentes. Trots detta var det fläsk på mackan vilket vi inte upptäckte förrän vi ätit mycket av den (var likt kantarellerna).

När vi poängterade detta för kyparen kollade hon med köket och kom sedan tillbaka och konstaterade att det stod fel i menyn. Hon sa att de kunde göra nya mackor utan fläsk åt oss och det var allt.
Vi förklarade även för andra i personalen att det kändes väldigt dåligt för oss att ha ätit kött mot vår vilja men upplevde inte att de tog det på så stort allvar. Vi fick ingen riktig ursäkt och blev inte heller erbjudna att betala mindre för maten eller någon annan kompensation.

För någon med allergier eller som av religiösa skäl inte äter kött hade det kunnat vara en ännu mer extrem situation, något som restaurangen inte verkade ha någon som helst förståelse för. Det här känns som det största misstaget en restaurang kan göra och att de då borde reagera därefter.

Hade vi fått en ordentlig ursäkt hade vi inte skrivit någon negativ recension men eftersom flera i personalen hade chansen att ta det på allvar men inte gjorde det kände vi oss väldigt illa bemötta och skriver härmed detta.

TLDR: We ordered a vegetarian dish that turned out to contain pork ("misprint in menu"). Hadn't eaten meat for ten years, so it felt very difficult. Didn't get a proper apology or compensation from the staff.

My girlfriend and I have been vegetarians for ten years and managed to avoid eating meat until we ordered a "vegetarian" chanterelle sandwich at Blankas. In the menu, the vegetarian ingredients were listed and it said "veg" in brackets. Despite this, there was pork on the sandwich, which we didn't discover until we ate a lot of it (was similar to the chanterelles).

When we pointed this out to the waiter, she checked with the kitchen and then came back and stated that it was wrong in the menu. She said they could make new sandwiches without pork for us and that was it.
We also explained to others in the staff that it felt very bad for us to have eaten meat against our will but did not feel that they took it so seriously. We did not receive a proper apology nor were we offered to pay less for the food or any other compensation.

For someone with allergies or who for religious reasons does not eat meat, it could have been an even more extreme situation, something the restaurant seemed to have no understanding of. This feels like the biggest mistake a restaurant can make and they should react accordingly.

If we had received a proper apology, we would not have written a negative review, but since several of the staff had the chance to take it seriously but did not, we felt very badly treated and hereby write this.

Fint ställe som jag hört gott om. Kanske var en tillfällighet men mitt första besök var en besvikelse. Maten och drickan kom i olika omgångar till gästerna. Den trevliga personalen hade alldeles för mycket att göra, hade behövt 1-2 personal till. Maten var god men jag hade förväntat mig mer smakmässigt.

Nice place that I've heard a lot about. Maybe it was a coincidence but my first visit was a disappointment. The food and drink came in different batches to the guests. The nice staff had far too much to do, would have needed 1-2 more staff. The food was good but I had expected more in terms of taste.

Några i sällskapet beställde in mellanrätter och andra beställde varmrätter men pga misskommunikation i köket kom rätterna in olika tidpunkter så vi kunde inre äta tillsammans och maten va kall. Maten var tyvärr inte speciellt bra framförallt i paritet med de dyra priserna. Jag tog raviolin som var för hård och fyllningen var en hård ”boll” som var väldigt liten. Personalen erbjöd efterrätt som ersättning för misstaget med maten men vi tackade nej då vi skulle vidare för tårta efter.

Servicen var okej personalen var trevlig.  Atmosfären var trevlig och och lokalerna var jättefina.

Some in the group ordered appetizers and others ordered main dishes, but due to miscommunication in the kitchen, the dishes arrived at different times so we could eat together and the food was cold. Unfortunately, the food was not particularly good, especially when compared to the expensive prices. I took the ravioli which was too hard and the filling was a hard "ball" which was very small. The staff offered dessert as compensation for the mistake with the food but we declined as we were going on for cake after.

The service was okay, the staff was nice.  The atmosphere was pleasant and the premises were great.
