Great location right in the heart of the city with everything easily accessible. The room was a little dark, even with the lighting, but it was comfortable, clean and well maintained. The spa is not the biggest, but it's enough for a little escape and relaxation.

Good hotel - would return.

Hotelli Östersund is a decent hotel without any major hickups. Location of the hotel is OK.
One good thing to notice on summer time is that rooms doesn't have air-conditioning and smaller 4person rooms it can mean hot nights on hottest summer days.
Breakfast was good and there was plenty of space to eat in on sport bar side

Attention! Don't book a room from friday to sunday if you like to sleep before 4 am. On the groundfloor of the hotel is a nightclub which opens friday and saturday from 11 pm to 3 am.
Besides that, the rooms are looking good in general but the lights are veeery dark.
And if you like it not so hot: the heaters in the bathroom are running on max and can't be turned off. (We were there at the end of may)
The staff is very friendly and the cloudspa (for which you have to pay extra) is also nice, if you don't have problems with drunk bachelorpartys.
Ending with something positive: you can park for free, even if the parkinglots are always almost full. (we were always lucky)

Yes - the hotel sent us a message that they have a nightclub, but only after we couldn't change or cancel our reservation.
As loud noise until 4am+ is a no-go for me - 1 Star.

Very friendly staff, good rooms (even my handicapped one was ok), nice breakfast (although without any fish). The spa had a great view and a big bar. It's more a social get-together areaand a good place to meet new people or share a peaceful time with friends.
Beware of the Friday and Saturday nights when the kids of the town party in the bar on the ground floor or on the street. If you don't want to join, rather ask for a room facing the other way in a higher floor.

Really nice hotel. The service is perfect the rooms are very good but I find them a bit dark in my opinion. Bathroom could be more cear in my opinion for the price of the hotel that is not really high but is considerable. The spa is not included in the room reservation it costs like 16'5€ more but is great be in the outdoor pool (that is hot) when outside the temperature is of -20°
