We never had such a bad experience of Service in a Restaurant. We visit this place about 1 year ago. We liked the food and atmosphere. Today we came again all the way from Copenhagen. My wife is pregnant and was craving the fish soup. After the waiter seated us, the manager decided to throw us from the seats again because there is a queue that was waiting for seats as well. After a big discussion and explaining her that this is not our problem that the waiter seated us, she became almost violent to throw us out.
We had this place in mind as a good experience . But ended this time with that my wife run out and started to cry.
My vote is only for the unprofessional manager. Waiter and kitchen staff by themselves has been professional.

We are at their casual lunch spot in the market hall and it was one of our favorite meals of the trip (so much so we went twice during our two days in Gothenburg).  The menu was amazing and they also poured some great wines.  Standouts on the menu were the beef bourguignon encroute (a special of the week), steak tartare on a crispy waffle, chicken liver mousse and the sourdough mushroom crepes. The bread and butter (OMG that butter) was amazing. Service was very friendly as well. Disappointed we couldn’t try their dinner restaurant as they were closed the two nights we were in town but I’m sure it’s also outstanding. B

It’s a tiny and very crowded little place, but the food is incredible and the service is impeccable!
You can freely view the kitchen and the chefs prepairing your food.
I’d come here again and recommend it for a quick decadent bite to anyone.

Cozy bar inside the Saluhallen they serving good food in small portions and focused on high quality. Everything i ordered was good, food and wine. The lady was nice and chef as well, providing good explanations on food and ingredients. Few tables, nice concept, probably the best in the Hallen. It's quite expensive but worth It. I'll be back 🤗

Such a nice spot for lunch in a seafood market. Very affordable with such a great quality of fish. Staff is also helpful and patient to walk through the menu and very kind to setup everything for us.
