I just visit now and again when passing. It nice to see he still remembered. There a few other places near linked to William Wallace near.

Some great history around this part of London. Most people only know this person thanks to the Australian actor, Mel Gibson playing the part of this Scottish warrior in Braveheart. Memorial pointing to the place where he was executed, hung, drawn and quartered.

It's a thoughtful tribute to the Scottish hero, but if you're expecting a grand statue or epic battle reenactments, this might not be your cup of tea.  Still, a cool little stop for a history buff on the go.  Just don't forget to bring your reading glasses – the inscription might be a bit tough to decipher.
