Nice spacious rooms. Reception and concierge service was good. Breakfast was really good. Unfortunately let down by housekeeping and maintenance. I found nail clippings on the desk, the sheets were stained and the dust in places showed cleaning was perfunctory at best. Electrical sockets were not screwed in properly and loose in the wall. Cleaning staff also left corridors impossible to navigate without kicking stuff out of the way. With a small amount of effort this could be a nice hotel to stay at. Unfortunately the lack of effort and attention to detail is easily noticeable.

A great mini break, quality hotel, the pool and spa are top notch. We ate breakfast which was very good, we were only let down a little as we parked our car there, reception on checking on told us our parking would be validated but on check out another receptionist did not recognize this. Don't mind paying just mind broken promises. We will definitely stay again.

A beautiful hotel. Our room was huge! The views looked across the river towards Greenwich. Stunning at night.
Our room was a family sized room. Very spacious. Everything was provided, beauty packs, toothbrushes, paste, etc
Breakfast was lovely and the service was efficient and attentive. The staff were brilliant with our ten year old and nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed here on the night of the BRIT awards as we were attending the show. We stayed in a small suite which had a kitchenette and the view of the O2 Arena. (Millenium dome) Room was clean with BYREDO toiletries which was a nice touch. The bar though service was slow I just put it down to the fact it was a busy afternoon prior to the Brit awards but clearly on a night like that more staff would have been better. All was well and a good place for easy access to events. We had a 3 course meal as part of the Brit award event and that was super tasty and looked great too!

Mixed Experience at InterContinental O2

I recently stayed at the InterContinental O2 and had a mixed experience. There were some highlights, such as the excellent cleanliness, a thoughtful touch with a small birthday cake in the room, and the variety in the breakfast buffet (though this came at an additional cost).

However, several aspects fell short. Despite advertising smart TVs in the rooms, this feature was absent, as confirmed by a staff member. The check-in process was especially frustrating—we waited around 15 minutes due to a system issue, and I’ve never experienced such a delay at any other hotel before. Additionally, when asking questions at reception, the staff often needed to consult the manager, leading to delays in resolving simple queries.

We also stopped by one of the two bars in the hotel. While the service was good, the prices were definitely on the higher end, so be prepared for that.

While the spa and gym are included in the price, they close by 8:30-9pm, which meant we couldn’t use them after a long day of travel. Lastly, it feels surprising that breakfast isn’t included in the £200 nightly rate. Including breakfast would be a small improvement that could elevate the overall guest experience.

Overall, while the stay had some positive aspects, the areas mentioned above would need improvement for me to fully recommend the hotel.
