Ole & Steen is now my go-to chain cafe in London. I really enjoy the cinnamon social, Custard danish, and the coffee  is a notch above the other chain cafes at the same price. I always get either a Flat White or a Mocha!

I also love their sourdough bread selection and I regularly have both the original sourdough and the seeded sourdough at home every week!

The vanilla cream bun is just alright, I think it’s overpriced and Ole & Steen has a lot of other great options

I recently visited a café and had their apple cinnamon tart, which was absolutely delicious.
The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly.

After enjoying my treat, I had plans to watch The Lion King at the Lyceum theatre. The café's location made it the perfect spot to relax and pass the time until the show started.

Tables needed to be cleaned. Service was fine but nothing special. Lemonade needed more sugar but the food was really good! I got some cinnamon bun and a cream puff pastry item which was awesome!!

I have no idea why this place is rated so highly. Absolutely miserable staff and the place looks like they clean tables at opening (if at all) and then don’t bother again until the end of the day. There was even an empty cup and used knife dumped by the sugar and cutlery area. Which is odd because I wasn’t asked if I was staying and was automatically given a to-go cup. Maybe this was a sign from the staff not to stay. Needless to say I won’t be returning.
