My partner was excited to book this for her birthday, but due to a glitch, she booked the wrong day and was charged $50 by the restaurant for her mistake.

We tried to call and reason with them (we still planned on dining there for the birthday!) but they wouldn’t take no for an answer, and kept their fee.

We kept our word and ended up dining at Dreyfus for her birthday, and the food was nice, but the experience left a really sour taste in our mouths. Make sure you triple check your reservations here, as they do not mess around.

Absolutely delightful :) I wasn’t expecting this dining experience in Toronto. Very French like. From the decor, to the very close table proximity and small cozy restaurant space. The menu is concise. Their food is creative and very delicious. Their service is excellent on all levels. My recommendation is that if you want a more leisurely dining experience book a later vs earlier seating time. And if u can use a car service cuz parking is near impossible.

Outstanding meal. One of the best we have had. The execution and the bold flavors were impeccable. So much care and consideration was put into every aspect of the meal. We sat at the bar and had Marion walk us through the creative process. Their passion stands out. Highly recommend. A must go in Toronto. We will be back.

Incredible French bistro cuisine in a cozy intimate setting. Highlights were the Eggplant, Tomato and fried feta cheese, Duck/Chicken with Chanterelles and the prawn spaghetti. Drink menu is more wine forward (3 cocktail options) but everything was otherwise perfect!

We loved Dreyfus! Two seats at the bar is all you need. The staff at Dreyfus will take it from there.

Incredible ambiance and excellent music.
The food was next level. I particularly loved the steak tartare and gravlax. The wine pairings were excellent.

All of the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. We had great conversations and they made the experience so much better.

I look forward to my next visit to Dreyfus!
