I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel, and I can't say enough about how remarkable the experience was. Nestled in the heart of the desert, the hotel offers an unparalleled blend of natural beauty and luxury. It's incredible to think you're surrounded by stunning desert landscapes yet so close to the ocean, making it a unique and peaceful retreat that perfectly balances serenity and adventure.

From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless, offering personalized recommendations and truly making us feel at home. The hotel’s design is a perfect harmony of modern luxury and the surrounding desert environment, with every detail carefully thought out to enhance the experience.

The accommodations were absolutely luxurious—spacious, beautifully appointed, and with every comfort imaginable. I recently visited the Paradero Todos Santos property and it was a magical experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The staff went above and beyond, always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with anything I needed.

I especially enjoyed the cooking class, which really elevated the experience especially if you are traveling with a group!

If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with exceptional service and amazing food, Paradero is definitely the place to stay.

I can't wait to return!

Paradero Hotel in Todos Santos is undeniably gorgeous, and we were so excited for what promised to be a luxurious and unique experience. While there were many wonderful aspects, unfortunately, the service repeatedly fell short, which put a damper on our stay.

From the very first night, we encountered issues. During dinner, our tortilla soup was forgotten, and even after flagging it to the staff, it never arrived. The following night, our room trash wasn’t taken out, the bucket of ice we had requested the previous evening was still sitting there completely melted, and a robe provided to us earlier wasn’t replaced. On the third day, a friend ordered a fruit plate during the day and waited over an hour while watching others around him get served promptly. The service felt inattentive overall, as staff rarely checked if guests needed anything unless explicitly asked. It was frustrating to feel like we had to constantly follow up to ensure basic requests were fulfilled.

Checking out was another point of frustration. The bill wasn’t itemized, making it difficult to review the charges for the entire stay. This lack of transparency added unnecessary confusion to the process. Additionally, staff repeatedly forgot to have us sign for meals, only to come back the next day to collect signatures. While not a major issue, it reflected a lack of organization that didn’t align with the hotel’s prestigious reputation.

For a hotel with a Michelin star and the promise of a boutique, buttoned-up experience, the service simply didn’t meet expectations. This was especially surprising given that we had just come from an all-inclusive resort in Cabo, where the service was flawless in every aspect, from attentive room cleaning to prompt dining experiences. We had expected Paradero to outshine that experience, but sadly, it fell short in comparison.

That said, the activities offered at Paradero were truly memorable. I loved the sound healing and meditation sessions, and the cooking class with Mariana was a highlight of the trip—she was fantastic and made the experience feel truly special.

While the beauty of the property and the warmth of the staff were commendable, the consistent service failures detracted from the overall experience. I hope Paradero can improve these areas to fully live up to the promise of its stunning setting and reputation.

I had a fabulous time at this resort. The activities are wonderful, the hospitality from everyone who works there made our stay extra memorable. I would definitely like to return to Paradero.
Specifically, Caesar,  Ernando, and Fernando were so especially lovely, as well as the woman who teaches yoga and Luna at checkin.
I recommend the cooking class, breath work and meditation, sunset beach (so many whales!!), cooking class, lounging by the pool, and guided art walk.

Our New Year’s Eve dinner at the Paradero Hotel, supposedly a Michelin-level restaurant and 5-star hotel, was a massive disappointment. The $300 per person fee was just for the food, totaling $1,000 for two, because drinks were not included and were massively overpriced. The only complimentary drink was the welcome cocktail, and even getting additional drinks took ages. The entrance reeked of urine, creating an awful first impression.

The event lasted six hours, yet all we received was a tiny piece of dry bread, a small salad, and a mediocre main course—nothing more. For such an expensive and supposedly luxurious evening, the lack of food was shocking and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the waiter handled my food with his bare hands and expected me to accept it as it was. Only after I returned the plate did they bring me a new dish, which should never happen in any restaurant, let alone one claiming Michelin and 5-star standards.

The staff appeared inexperienced and disorganized—my meal was forgotten multiple times. The seating situation was equally chaotic and unprofessional: we had no space because the hotel crammed five people into a space at the table meant for two. This happened because one guest spontaneously invited additional people. It made the experience even more uncomfortable and unrefined.

The staff made no effort to create a welcoming or celebratory atmosphere. At midnight, there wasn’t even a glass of champagne or grapes for a traditional toast. The hotel fell far below the standards one would expect from a Michelin-rated venue or a 5-star establishment. The tacky pink cactus lighting was the final touch on an already disappointing experience.

Absolutely not worth the price or the hype.
