 月曜日、木曜日、日曜日は午後5時30分から深夜12時まで営業しています。金曜日と土曜日は午後5時30分から午前1時まで営業し、夜遅くまで中東の味とおしゃれな雰囲気を楽しめます。料理の提供は閉店の1時間前になります。 

 街路駐車とバレットサービスが利用可能で、アクセスも便利です。

This hidden gem near Union Market in the alley is a must-visit! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with the most amazing scent—it smells like beautiful candles and sets such a relaxing, welcoming vibe. The restaurant is impeccably clean, both inside and outside, and it feels like every detail has been carefully thought out.

We didn’t have a reservation, so we had to wait almost two hours for a table inside so here’s a tip: definitely make a reservation! While waiting, we hung out at the restaurant’s rooftop area, which was super cute and cozy. Even though it’s outdoors, the fire lanterns kept us warm. The rooftop menu is limited, so we ordered a few appetizers and drinks while we waited, and they were delicious.

When our table was ready, we walked back inside and were blown away by how delicious the food and drinks were—every bite was perfect. I honestly don’t remember the last time I had such amazing food in DC.

Next time, though, I would definitely not wait two hours for a bar seat. Make sure to book a reservation in advance to fully enjoy the experience without the long wait.

This place is a total hidden treasure, and I’ll absolutely be back. No complaints, just a perfect dining experience all around!

Incredible food, cocktails, and service! The falafel with caviar is a standout, along with the dumpling dish and hummus spreads. I can’t recall the cocktail names, but I’ll be making my way through the list over the next few months—updates to come! Definitely put this spot on your list.

Sooo good. Incredible food, drinks, service, and ambiance. We walked in at 9pm and hoped to get a bar seat to order food and finally did at 9:50pm. Outside seating doesn't allow food orders so we were so excited they moved us inside after the wait. Favorite drink was the Bedouin coffee, favorite app was the Date BBQ'd Mushroom Hummus, and my favorite entree was the late night menu lamb kebab burger! Everything exceeded my expectations. Need to come back to try the soujek dumplings. Can’t wait to return.

a total vibe! get here early if you’re a walk in — there are only 13 spots at the bar and they filled up within 10 minutes.
we were astonished as soon as we entered the front door by the vibe of the restaurant. immediately captured a distinct atmosphere from a different time and space.
- beef tongue hummus is an umami bomb. i've never had such a unique combination of ingredients with hummus, and it was flavorful. you definitely need sourdough to soak it all up. i actually appreciated that the sourdough was cold because it was a cool contrast to the warm, rich protein and garnish. 5/5
- tuna tartare was also incredibly flavorful as well and not as light as i'd have liked it. loved the crispy char of the sourdough. not as great as the beef hummus, but still delicious. 4/5
- the dumplings were deceptively vegetarian. the mushrooms pulled in a lot of flavor and textural uniqueness, and it paired well with the cilantro and the tomato. i wasn't the biggest fan of the dollop of yogurt. 4/5
- the duck confit fried rice was also good, though perhaps i'm not the biggest fan of how dry the duck was -- it was akin to a jerky-like texture. i did enjoy the carrots, mint, dried fruit, and the mild flavor of the rice. 4.5/5
for a new restaurant, the bar staff were incredibly sophisticated and was well rehearsed.

La’Shukran is fine, not great, not awful, and definitely not worth waiting 2 hours for.

The decor and music create a great vibe, its middle eastern pop/funk in a moody dimly lit space with a beautiful patio. The service is also outstanding.

But the food and drinks fell pretty flat. We got the sesame baguette with labneh and the size of labneh was pathetic for the price and the bread itself tasted like something you could get at Tatte.

The mains were good but not great. Got the fried rice and one of the hummus. For $26, the rice was okay but not great. The hummus felt like a cheap version of a spread at Albi but for the same price. Same thing with the desert. We got the Kanefh which we love at Albi and the La’Shukran version tasted like a clumsy copy with mismatched flavors and rushed preparation.

The drinks also left a lot of be desired. We tried every cocktail except the coffee ones. They were all fine but nothing worth coming back for. The arak cocktails were cool to try but you can get arak cocktails at other places around the city.

Odd for this place to be such a miss since Albi and Yellow are so outstanding.
