Had an amazing stay at this boutique-feeling hotel. We were intentionally trying not to book with a large chain hotel for our anniversary, as those can often feel impersonal and corporate.

Decor was on point and vintage without feeling old or outdated. Our room was much larger than expected with a beautiful view. The staff were incredibly welcoming and top-notch. We didn't eat much food in the restaurant, but the drinks and bar service were great. Everything was clean and their towels and robes are fantastic. We loved all the extra touches that were unexpected, from the drink vouchers to the vintage physical key to the bikes available (too bad it was snowy). The hotel is also close to many, many restaurants, theaters, shopping, and sights.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially since the price was reasonable for one of the busiest weekends in Chicago. Can't wait to be back!

We had a fantastic weekend stay! The rooms are lovely; I highly recommend a corner room (we stayed in 1204, and it was amazing). The beds are incredibly comfortable. The food at Atwood was excellent, and the service exceeded our expectations. A big thank you to the general manager, Thomas, for his kindness during our visit. I can't wait to go back!

A perfect respite for a winter Chicago getaway, that we felt went above and beyond given the price. Everything went smoothly and the varied amenities truly enhanced our trip. To shout out a few: first and foremost, the two-duvet bed was INCREDIBLY comfortable to the point where we actively ditched evening plans to lay in the bed. We utilized the free bicycles all the way to Lincoln Park without a hitch (thank you to the staff for pumping up the tires), and the welcome drinks were a generous touch and the perfect kickoff to our first night. We LOVED the comfortable robes and the reusable water bottle came in very handy. We also really appreciated the staff's help in storing our bags after checkout. The building itself is also very beautiful and particularly interesting if you're into Chicago architectural history.

The only cons: the elevators were slow and a bit loud, there was no in-room fridge. Also, the word "naked" appeared more frequently than probably any other building I've ever been in, but if that's a con for you perhaps you shouldn't be in the city at all.

We will definitely be back here and recommend for staying short or long term in Chicago.

This place was exceptional. Rooms are so clean and shine. Concept about pineapples is so cute 🍍 If you travel with your fur baby this is the perfect place to stay. They treat your pets as it should be. I really enjoyed my days with my doggies here. The staff members are simply adorable. Cassandra made us feel so welcome, she was so attentive to our needs and beyond. We can’t wait to come back again soon

Stayed just one night at the Staypineapple,  but had a wonderful time. Front desk let us check in early, which was an unexpected delight! Room itself was very cozy. Small but spacious at the same time. Bed was comfy. Nice little view.  Noise wasn't an issue. A/C worked great.  Shower is roomy with decent water pressure.  The location is terrific. We were even given two free drinks with our booking. All in all, terrific experience.
