Exceptional establishment, the welcome,  vibe, Asian inspired decor, ambiance. We ordered around 8 or 9 different mains as they come in small plates, however decent portions. Every one of the dishes was packed with flavour. Cocktails were fantastic. The malva pudding was made to order and the best I've had so far. Jordan, our waitress is friendly and super efficient. This place was packed. However, i was blown away that we were ordering food and drink throughout the evening and only had to wait a few minutes for them to arrive on each occasion. Asoka ticks all the boxes for me. One of the best I've been to in the Mother City.

Incredible experience and highly recommended. We were a table of 8 & all got different menu items to enjoy trying as much as we can - we could not fault or critique a single thing. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable & friendly. The service from the bar was efficient, the cocktails were all perfect across the board. Great wine selection too!

Menu highlights were definitely the goats cheese croquettes, ostrich tartar and the seared tuna.

10/10 all round - well done to the team at Asoka!

Food was great. Service was super friendly. Unfortunately, we had to eat our orders separately, as they weren’t served the same time. And me personally I’m not a big fan of incense sticks and the scent was a bit overwhelming. But location is great and recommendable!

Maybe it was the time we went (around 10:30 pm) but the service was a bit lack-luster. Also, the food was not worth the price.

The grilled ostrich was, by a mile, the best tasting option we selected. Nothing else was hitting. I was told by the server to try the garlic butter seafood dish (3 small 🍤 and an undercooked🦐). Honestly, I was disappointed. The dish tasted too acerbic (very citrusy-sour).

On the other hand, the place is cozy and makes a  great spot for a nice dressed-up date.

I went there with my girlfriend on a Tuesday evening (Jazz live band) and had a great time. The atmosphere was excellent, thanks to the live music, although it did get so loud at times that it was hard to have a conversation. Considering the price level and the otherwise great ambiance, I found it a bit too loud (especially when you want to have a conversation with your dinner partner).

The food concept is focused on sharing and was consistently delicious.

I can definitely recommend the restaurant. However, for those who don’t value live music as much, I’d suggest visiting on a different day than Tuesday.
