This is a busy place in the center of Vienna. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. A main dish inside, Austria is schnitzel. So we had to order a dish along with some of the perfect looking desserts they had. We had a waiter named Martin.
We were with a bunch of people that wanted separate bills. Not always easy when you’re in a busy place and some say no. He didn’t hesitate. He said no problem. He recommended what we all should eat. We told him we are on a time schedule and he made sure the food came out very quickly.
A known fact for hundreds of years in this country. Viennese people only drink tapwater. It comes from the Alpine Springs in the area. So they give  you a glass of these amazing water with your coffee.

Location is clearly very central and accessible for any tourist in need of a snack or a place with good atmosphere. Busy and buzzing the Cafe Mozart is a good place to rest your feed from walking. Is food the best or super tasty. Maybe not. But decent and average price for the busy city centre where it is. Sacher not the best I had in Vienna but rich and soft.

We’ve stopped for lunch and we were not disappointed. It’s a bit pricey, but the food was good. Service was great and the atmosphere wonderful. Beef Goulash was nice - a bit too salty personally, but the meat was delicious.

It ticks all the boxes for the classic Vienna Coffee house experience, including the ordinary coffee and high prices.
But service is very quick, the cakes are superb, and the setting is lovely.

One of the cafes we selected to visit during our tour of Austria. Beautiful setting with a serene atmosphere. Do go there in the morning when it is less busy as it generally gets flocked by Mozart fans later in the day. They do not have a big menu but the coffee and pastries are simple and delicious.
It is truly just a no nonsense place, the servers will take your order briefly and there is no chit chat or small talk. In fact, we hardly saw any of the servers walking around after our food was brought to the table. It took a while for us to get their attention to pay for our meal.
I would come here just to nostalgically look at all the Mozart paraphernalia.
The exterior building of the cafe is very beautiful and definitely a Kodak spot for photos.
