This park was beautiful. I walked through here on the way to the Little Mermaid. There are some nice trails for jogging or dog walking and a cool windmill in the center of the park. Very lush and green and I saw a bunch of cool birds. I would definitely swing by for a park walk if you are in the area.

A peaceful, scenic spot perfect for a relaxing walk.  The historic star shaped fort is surrounded by green spaces and tranquil water, offering a lovely escape from the city hustle.  It’s a popular spot for joggers, so you’ll often see people running along the paths.  The atmosphere is calm, and the views are beautiful.  Highly recommended.

A picturesque walk through a clean and beautiful place. Entry to the grounds is free and provides a wonderful walk if visiting The Little Mermaid Statue. I was shocked that such a wonderful place is situated in the capital city as I felt as if I was in the countryside!!

An island with a fortress and moats with water around.  As a fortress, it is nothing special, but as a park for a walk, it is a very beautiful and peaceful place. This is not exactly a park for walking, the territory belongs to the Ministry of Defense, but there are a lot of people walking and jogging. An interesting place on the way to the mermaid monument.

Excellent historic attraction in Copenhagen. Access is free, great place for a summer stroll, picnic in the park or run on the banks.
Be aware the public restrooms are closed on the weekend! I suggest they change that.
Top tip: the eastern-most, yellow building with the year 1725 on the front has a bathroom in the lobby. See pictures!
