Very lovely museum.  Picasso ceramics are interesting but other ceramic artist is worth seeing there too. Some really good paintings on display. Friendly staff. Loved my visit.

Some nice paintings and modern art but not really my cup of tea. 10 euros entrance fee is a bit expensive too. Lovely modern building in a superb small Catalan town

I went here especially for Matisse's work, quite bummed as I couldn't find them, not sure if it was me or the paintings are just not there anymore. Anyway I found other beautiful works and hey, Picasso's bizarre ceramic period 😆 so many bowls. But the most interesting thing was the information about how all these painters were linked to Céret at some point. Which by the way is a very pretty small town. But I wanted to buy a €4.00 magnet from Maison de la Presse and I couldn't pay by card because the minimum was €10.00. Oh well.
There's also a Manolo's statue on one of the streets near the museum.

Very interesting modern art museum where you can enjoy the history of modern painting that took place in Ceret. You can see paintings clay and sone sculptures of Picasso, Maillol , Macha , Dali, Tapies...
I fully recommend it, a must if you visit Ceret!!

A beautiful museum in a quaint small town with a diverse collection including Picasso, Matisse, Chagall, Miro Dali and more.  Take a nice stroll through town, have lunch and tour the museum for a memorable day in Ceret.  Easy LIO bus ride from Perpignan for 1 Euro.
