I stayed there for 5 nights.. The room is a bit small but perfect for solo travellers or couples. The room had coffee maker, minibar and bottled water, all were restocked daily.
The location is excellent, close to all attractions and good restaurants.
The breakfast quality was amazing but not too many options..

Rooms are a little small, but was not important to us since we were out exploring Florence the majority of the trip. Hotel is in a very central location and made walking everywhere possible. The pool and rooftop bar are what made this hotel stand out. Great views and a nice way to relax after a long day of exploring. Front desk staff was very helpful with maps, directions and recommendations.

Outstanding service from all of the staff (but especially Fulvio). The breakfast is a treat, and makes the cost of the stay a bargain. The hotel is new, modern, ideally located and surprisingly quiet considering the surroundings. Don't miss the rooftop bar and pool for a sunset swim or cocktail. If you can manage the upgrade, the larger room was well worth it.

Had a wonderful 4 nights stay here. The hotel was very modern and clean, and the staff were very helpful and obliging. A wide variety buffet  breakfast. Good views of Florence from the rooftop terrace.  The hotel doesn't serve dinner, plenty of restaurants nearby and the hotel is happy to recommend and book one for you.

The staff were friendly. The hotel is in a very good location. We easily reached the hotel on foot with our luggage after getting off the train. I highly recommend going up to the terrace to enjoy the view.

The Hotel Glance was in a very convenient location to the train station and Duomo, but with that comes with the noise. The rooms were rather small but the general accommodations were excellent. Breakfast was included and the rooftop pool. I would definitely recommend the glance hotel.

For the price I felt this hotel was small but very good for what it was. It's located close to the train station in Florence and in the center with all the shops and touristy things. The rooms itself are small but it has everything you need. It's basic but comfy. Breakfast - Solid, it had everything you want in the morning including freshly made lattes and cappuccinos. Overall if you want a convenient hotel in Florence I'd stay here. The pool is only open during the summer season which was a bummer but they do still let you go to the rooftop area (bar closed on rooftop).

Excellent boutique hotel conveniently located in the historic district. The Glance is only a couple blocks from the train station and Duomo. It is also within a short walk of nearly all the other major attractions in Florence along with a huge list of places to dine and shop. The rooms were unsurprisingly on the smaller side (this is Italy) but were nonetheless comfortable and clean. The bathroom wasn't too cramped but there was an issue with the shower leaking on to the floor which I noticed other people reported. Great pool, albeit small, on the roof but this is a rarity in Florence as hotel pools are in limited supply. The pool bar was great, they had a perfect mix of beer, wine and cocktails available along with lite bites and the staff was super friendly. Breakfast buffet was more extensive than I expected with plenty of hot and cold offerings. Only issue was the breakfast staff was not very accomodating to seating our large group of seven. All in all it was a very good experience and I would return.

Hotel was amazing! Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and eager to assist. Roof top bar had great views. Gabriele at the front desk gave us great recommendations for restaurants and attractions and made the stay even more enjoyable. Definitely coming back.

Such a great hotel! - the staff was always so friendly and helpful. Especially Cariana at the front desk. They were so accommodating. - included breakfast was fantastic. Great spread and lots of sweet and savory options. - room was very modern. Average European sized room which maybe small for some. - location! Everything was in walking distance. The market across the street is great for when you don't know where to eat. It has everything. - great rooftop with a view! The pool and bar where closed for the season during our visit but I'm happy they still let people up on the roof for a view. I loved my visit to Florence and my stay here.

Just checked in and love it here. Been chillin on the roof top / pool area on the 6th floor with great view of Florence. I highly recommend this place as we have personally shopped all over the area for sweet spots.

This hotel is located 1 block from the Central Market and an easy walk to most of the tourist destinations. Also, it is a close walk to the train station which was appreciated since we took a train in and out of Florence. The lobby of the hotel is very small and unassuming. It can get crowded at peak times, but otherwise it was no problem. Even if you aren't swimming in the pool, you must go up to the roof. Amazing city views. And, several places to hang out and enjoy the weather. We brought sandwiches up there one afternoon and sat under tables with umbrellas on the side patio. I can forgive them the small lobby with a rooftop this nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful and gave us advice on restaurants and shopping. The breakfast buffet seems small, but it was really outstanding. The staff is very attentive and brings you the hot beverage of your choice. They even have a machine which cooks up pancakes for you on request assembly line fashion. It offered everything you could want and more. They give you 2 bottles of water each day, which is great. No mini bar refrigerator though. Now for the reason I took away 1 star. The "Comfort Room" we booked was pretty small. Manageable though. The bathroom was tiny. I mean really tiny. And, the hairdryer is attached to the wall so one person can't dry their hair while the other showers. There is no way that 2 people can fit in that bathroom. And, the shower leaks onto the bathroom floor so there's a small flood each morning. By day four, I was sure it wasn't user error. It was shower design. I would check into upgrading the room to get a bigger bathroom if I went back to the Glance. It was included in a package through Costco Travel, so that would be my advice to anyone else looking to book a room here.

The Hotel Glance is along hotel row and is centrally located (easy walk to the train, the market, site seeing). We booked it as part of a tour, so we were also able to ask questions from a guide on the first floor. The hotel is recently renovated (2016) and quite modern--so much so that it might take a minute to figure out how to turn on the lights. There were three of us sharing a room, and the second bed was no cot: it's a full size, comfy bed (couldn't tell if it was a roll out couch, but it's low to the floor). There are lovely touches like robes and slippers, complimentary seltzer and water, a heated towel rack, and bubble bath. The bathroom is impressive, with a smooth white acrylic sink, a bidet, and a full size bathtub. The main bedroom (separated by sliding doors) has a fridge, desk, and chair, and both rooms have flat screen TVs. The breakfast buffet included is outstanding: eggs, bacon, roasted vegetables, prosciutto, parmaesan (from Parma, the good stuff), fresh honeycomb, fresh fruit, pastries, and more. I like the A.C.E. juice, orange and carrot, really fantastic. The front desk staff are very friendly. There were a few service mishaps, but overall it was lovely.

The glance hotel is ideally located 5 minute walk from train station and block away from Central Market, a cornucopia of eateries . It is very clean and the staff is friendly enough, but not overwhelmingly so. We had a free breakfast which was very convenient. The room was spacious and clean and had all modern amenities. We had a king size and a double bed. The bathroom was very nice but a little lavatory space. The best part about this hotel was the incredible rooftop view. There is a lap pool and a terrace bar where you can enjoy stunning views of Florence, drinking a glass of wine or bottles water with a glimpse of the dome from Il Duomo Santa Maria d fiore in the background. It's on the north side of town with all sights to our south but it is all walkable. For us, being near the train station was worth it.

Everything was perfect! Location from train station and proximity to central Florence were spot on. Rooms were quiet, clean, modern and the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful.
